i dont thing your satelellite settings should be on nimiq 1.3 97w. i thing should rather change that to ecostar if bell-vu is you provider. 60s should work but that not too good

I've had a vs extreem and its done that since day one. I think its just a glitch when it;s trying to lock on to a transponder, Mine always scanned fine and no stuttering while watching. So if you don't have problems watching then leave it..

i had the same problem and i fixed it i didnt cut nothing and i didnt have to repoint me sat to get channels.

lnb type:universal

tp freq:122282(satechostar 7) needs to be changed to match the sat you want to find.

YOu do not have a strong enough signal. You have to realign your dish until you get 75% or better (85% or better is what you should be shooting for and is easily attainable) but 75% will work. If you can achieve this, the satellite will lock on nim91 and the erratic percentage should disappear. As I look at this you are not locked on the satellite. You know you are locked when a nim91 banner appears above the satellite you've selected in the list-give it a try

guys the reason your box is doing that is the LNB port on the dish is bad. change it to another port or get another one and test it out and you'll see that the port you were on went bad. this is assuming that you have all of your settings correct, if the settings are not right then then the problem is not the LNB.

most likely 1 way to find out unscrew the wire from back of reciever pull out wire slow push back in if it goes away its a bad end cap.............

IT IS DOING THIS BECAUSE THE CABLE THAT GOES FROM THE SAT TO THE BOX HAS A BAD CONNECTION. I JUST GOT MINE TONIGHT AND I HAD TO JAM THE CABLE IN UNTIL I GET A NEW ONE. sorry for caps i wanted this to be seen. you can try jammin the cable in but its up to you. run a new cable..problem solved!!!

There is nothing wrong with it. It is trying to receive a signal from a from a bad TP frequency. Also, if you have more than one satellite on it and you have a Diseqc switch on it... you didn't select what port it needs to be assigned to. That is why it is trying to find the signal like that. I have noticed that if everything is set right and the satellite is aligned properly that if the first TP is bad it won't search right. Look at TP's till you have a signal and delete the rest before it.

there is nothing wrong with the reciever. your dish is no properly align.or it could be wrong multi-switch input, receiver not setup right, or even corrosion in the connector. if you're a tech, you might know what im talking about. if not, well... figure it out.

my friend it might be the knob dish receiver that little part that catches the signals or it can be the cable.. i dont think that its anything with ur receiver..

Do the factory default and reinstall the new fix and see what happen. This is just a common proceedure.

I had the same problem 2 times, what i did was a factory reset and put the newest fix in and rescaned...this worked for me both times. i also heard on some site a hard reboot will work, turn the switch of in the back for 10 sec. if that dont work then do what i did

I just got the exact same problem dude. I called viewsat, they say the tuner is busted, I have to send it in for repair. before it was working perfectly fine. ...then this happened all out of the blue. Sucks

nimiq 1.3 91.0W does not works with universal lnb. mojothepoomonkey is absolutely rite. you can use ( single, dual, legacy, twin quad, dish pro, dish pro plus or others but not universal for nimiq 1)
