@Alphan Check out The Associates' version: watch?v=wfqca97AnDI. One has to admit that, despite its apparent simplistic structure, this is actually a very difficult song--particularly considering that the second "chorus" skips a beat.

@PlatinumMic I think it has to do with the backing track, if he was singing an octave lower, it could get buried in the music. And anyway, Andy's not singing falsetto in this track.
