  • this vid is just an excuse to touch other men.. jk

  • im selling my old road bike and getting a new one. can u suggest me a good size for road bike frames. im about 5''7 in height 180 pounds.

  • @titanium1228 every manufacturer has a different size

  • Best explained how to fitout! thanks!

  • I've been looking for exactly this... Thanks!

  • Awesome video.. thank you.

  • gross bike

  • now ,i just started taking cycling seriously...and i notice that when i sit on my sit bones, with padded cycling shorts mind you, i get constipated cause my anus gets swollen...then that leads to a hemmor***... oh, well you know.. it turns into a big deal... i feel that it's more comfortable to sit on the taint... is that bad?

  • thank you for the info! great job.

  • very nice. thanks!

  • Ugly bike, great speaker

  • all the gain in power by a proper fit will be offset by the soft tail of this bike :)

  • There are a lot of idiots commenting here who are more concerned with the aesthetics of the bike than how to get the right angles for a proper bike fit.

You morons know who you are.

  • that bike is out to win a ugly contest

  • I just use my mountain bike for going to work which is about 11 miles one way,

I am not into racing but maybe I look into Bike Fitting?

  • The video would be a lot more informative on something like a normal bike frame. What a stupid bike to use for a demo vid.

  • That's an awesome bike! =[ To bad Softride doesn't manufacture bicycles anymore. I would love to have one like that.

  • @RedRaccoon91

Look into Titanflex ... they are probably better than either the Softride or the Trek Y Foil.

  • @nightowl8936 Thanks! Titanflex looks awesome.

  • do you also have a set up video for MTB ?

  • KOPS position in front of spindle = sprinting strength and it also + knee problems for most riders. What a hack video.

  • Softride is so 90's for tri's only, they sucked as road bikes

  • that bike is retarded

  • Great explanation, do more pls

  • 0:24 "approximately right here" WTF?

  • Awesome fit! Wanted to see a bit more about the knees though :( The bikeshop I bought a bike from didn't know how to fit me and as a consequence a week afterwards I got quadriceps tendonitis... Bang season gone!

  • a guy in the club im in has this bike in black looks pretty cool/interesting! its it pretty good?

  • I had a track coach at Carson Velodrome that told me not to worry about all is sort of fitting, he said just get on the bike and ride. I think he was a bit old school, I would of liked to have had some advice like this at that time...

  • Cool bike frame!

  • ROFL @ the flexibility of the frame. This is realy the opposite of a Carbon frame.

It maybe give a soft ride but it's also less efficiënt. 'Flintstone frame' whould be a better name :P

  • on that weather you go to the moeuntains nubies

  • That rock under the front wheel looks good and safe !!!

Handle bar extensions developed by the great Graeme Obree...

  • great explanation, awesome bike. i'd love to have one.

  • uhg, that bike looks so unstiff :(

  • thanks for tha INFO

  • what an UGLY BIKE!

  • More of an anatomy lesson than bike fit.lol

  • you have to know your anatomy to be able to accurately fit so I think its good

  • not the best video to explain bike fit, but has some triathlon oriented advice.

  • One of the best fit outs I have seen and superbly explained,,:)

  • This guy is a brilliant speaker.

  • It like a comfort tri bike. pretty ugly. I remember Bianchi did this once but then they killed it because it was too ugly or sumthin.

  • Bike is really ugly. What is it ?

  • Bike is Softride

  • Softride 'Rocker wing' was the hottest bike in 2000

  • Good tips, but misses a lot, like saddle fore/aft movement, handlebar stem angle and length, handlebar width etc.

  • Hey,

Can you point me towards a more thorough explanation of rider position?

  • sorry ignip, i'm not qualified. but i know that saddle tweaks can make an enormous difference. Some ideas:

    - slide the saddle back or forsth according to this video.

    - make the saddle level, then;

    - Males can prefer the nose tipped up;

    - females the reverse

    - you might point the nose left, or right slightly, if, like me, you have a significant leg length difference (13mm)

    experiment.

    good luck.

  • whats the name of this bike?

  • Bike is Softride

  • Ugliest bike ever.

  • great advice,,,,,cut down on the lower back pain..please let me know who makes this bike....thank you and happy trails/roads to all of you....

  • softride makes it

  • who says you have to "Race"

    to ride a bike?

  • awesome!

  • Awesome video! Good job guys!

  • This was a great video! I am still a noobie to road biking, and I want to be more efficient so I can bike better then my friends. :D

  • great video keep up the good work!!! very helpfull and informing the best in the net

  • how would you even adjust that bike!!>? its like a solid piece of carbon fiber

  • The bike itself doesn't adjust. It's the saddle height and position, cleat position on the shoes and handlebars/aerobars that get positioned to fit your body to the bike.

  • how would i reduce pain under my patella? it is on the anterior, on the inside of the leg.

it feels like the ligament under the patella that attaches the quads to the knee?

should i raise my seat? you pointed to teh outside of the knee, my pain is on the inside. I do ahve a bit of lateral play in my knee when i pedal

  • I would suggest raising your seat .5 cm to start. It sounds like a low saddle pain. I most likely intended to point to the knee in general, not specifically to the lateral (outside) only. I hope that helps.

  • This is a very good video.

iv's under stud it alot better by you, then some of most videos.

just because I can hear your words very clearly and i can see an Examination in practice.

    thank you.

  • this is a very good video I'm very interested in buying a roadbike and this video has helped alot. I just would like a video that is maybe a little bit more detailed about fiiting

  • Thank you great video for beginners

  • GREAT Video! Thank you for posting!

  • I ajusted my bike last night according to your tips and I road 25Miles this morning. I feel so much better then the last ever. Last time I road it felt like someone was pulling my hipps out of the sockets. Thank you Very much!

  • Great tip, thanks!

  • One question...

isn´t that saddle a little too foward... i mean the knee should be align with the metatarso right ? looks like is a little more to the front.

  • Time Trial bike and road bike slightly differnt. I think the saddle is too high. I prefer to ankle.

  • Thanks for the help

  • This is great thanks.

  • Thank you for the feedback. Check back for more clips coming soon.

  • Excellent help, thanks very much for posting.

  • This is the kind of explanation I've been looking for thank you that.

  • Thanks!!!

    Best fitting video ever!

  • yeah, very cool!! the best material about angle of body that i saw, but i am trying to translate and understand more

    yeah! very cool

    éééh! muito legal

    tancks!

    valeu!

  • Have you done Ironman Brasil? Eu queiro fazer IMB! Won't be able to for a few years though.
