Just was his hair in circular motions with the shampoo in it. That will clean his hair more deeply and quicker, and that will also twist his har while he washes it. I have had hair like this and I used to was in as much as I wanted with the circualar washing technique.

you can just use all natural benzonite clay. you just spread it on and use a hooded dryer for an hour. it deep conditions and it gets product buildup out very effectively without any worries of unraveling dreads. good luck =]

it may be easier to start with the scalp because shampoo is like a magnet. being that when you rinse, it will clean the hair that way. putting shamp directly on the hair makes it dry. plus that can save you some time. looking good though!

I used to have locs and the lint used to come from the towel most of the time. Try using an old t-shirt to dry his hair. That be helpful with preventing lint from collecting in his locs.
