Not bad, certainly has excellent technique, but the interpretation lacked luster, sounded banal. In my opinion the last three finalists (Yingdi Sun, Anton Salnikov, Christiaan Kuyvenhoven) all had much more artistry in their playing.

Damian Iorio is a wonderful conductor with lots of knowledge and musicality for his age. I actually played Tchaikovsky's 3rd with him. He's awesome.
