You are talented: what a nice rendition of this touching song: brings back so many nice memories of my family together with my uncle singing and playing this song on the guitar. Thanks!
Thanks a lot. It's one of those songs that touches your heart as it churns out a picture in your mind of the characters and scenarios. The human condition portrayed in song, so to speak. Thanks again.
Very nice, im only a kid and when ever i listen to this song it makes me cry because of my grandpa Jim Cunningham anyways Tom would be proud to see this. :)
I appreciate the kindness. Especially from a young person because most kids would just blow a song like this off. Some songs make me cry too. Nothing wrong with that. Even the biggest, strongest warriors cry sometimes. Is your grandpa JIm still living? He's lucky to have a grandson that loves him like that. Thanks again and take care. Hick-in-the-Woods
You know you learn to feel these things earlier when your born in a logging town...This song makes me cry because my Grandpa Jim died about four years ago but honestly he didnt die and no, hes not im my heart honestly this may sound bad but hes in the music. I think the main reason im sad is because my dad tells me he was an amazing guy and he died when i was only 8 i think i missed out on alot... anyways ill stop pooring out my life story im sure you dont want to read all this. Bye
I never got a chance to know my grandpa. He died when I was one year old. I would have loved for a grandpa to go fishing with and stuff like that. Now, I'm a grandpa with three grandaughters. Unfortunately they all live far away, but my 11 year old grandaughter visits in the summertime and we like to go fishing or catch crayfish or swimming in the lake and stuff. I think she'll have a lot of good memories of our times together when she looks back later in life. Take care, Hick-in-the-Woods
Im sure shes very happy and i bet your proud to have all of them im sorry for your loss of your grandpa even though it was a very long time ago. Thanks this really makes me feel like i have some reason not to mope around.
I'm sorry for your loss also. Do what's right and good in life and I'm sure your grandpa would be proud of you. Choose your friends wisely, because they can shape the course of your whole life. (Sorry, I had to throw that little lecture in there. I couldn't help it, I'm a dad and grandpa, that's what we do). Don't mope around. Take your dad fishing and ask him to tell you stories of your grandpa back in the day. OK, take care. Hick-in-the-Woods
