You can play online, co-op mode is when you go against a shit load of strong ass monsters. Unreal Tournament was like a mod to this game, or other way around

Does this game have a co-op? Can you give orders to your team like a squad leader?

Actually I'd say it's a bit more realistic in terms of weapon movement. The weapon you're holding isn't just like thin air; it actually exist in the game and not only in first person view. If you'd walk up to a wall you'd hear the weapon bumping into it and would be unable to move your head around since the weapon would block you from doing so. Of course you can always disable the blocking feature.

Apart from vehicle realism, since INF doesn't have any, I'd say they're quite equal overall.

It doesn't have any real co-op mode but you can always play against bots with a few mates.

You can give orders to your team mate bots; most likely the same for online play as well but I can't confirm that since I haven't really had a match against other people.

For Source you could always check out Insurgency - in the same vein as INF with extreme realism. Only thing I'd complain about are the somewhat cramped maps which leaves little options for sneaking, it's pretty much just head-on battles on most maps. Worth checking out though.

Im playing Insurgency, great mod but it is not as realistic as infiltarion imho plus I agree about the maps, they are a bit to small and narrow, not many flanking options and lurking spots.

Dude, the AK is like, so fun to use. Because when you aim, and shoot, it's always right on.

Although I prefer the M4A1 Carbine, the AK is kickass.

This is the only game to truely differentiate between AR and SMG in a truely realistic fashion. I wish people played this still. I would really like to play Red Orchestra with modern weapons and that's what this is. (It even did it before RO.)

I've seen one server up for the original INF 2.9, however it's always empty. Sometimes you can see some servers running modifications for it and they're usually filled with a few people.

i remember staying up in middle school 5 or 6 years ago playing this mod on my mac. I was getting 13 fps but i loved it and always looked for the new version. These days I play Project Reality for BF2, and i plan to check out Armed Assault. RIP INF.
