I bought my Motorola Razr due to its supposedly hardy make-up. My Razr is just over 2 weeks old and has never been dropped and has been cared for extremely well. The other day it made a 2 feet fall (the only force behind the fall was gravity itself) and the screen shattered.

I have never seen another phone shatter from such a fall, even those without gorilla glass. This makes me rethink the quality of materials that was used, or perhaps a faulty device.

Battery always will become an issue in smartphones. There is no reason to always complain about it when you have processsors running. Phones users never realize something. If your phone is not in use, cuz you're working. Turn ur background data off & the data it self. Reduce screen brightness. You are going to see how much bat time you will have. I've been practicing this since my Droid Incredible and now the Droid Razr. Really makes a difference folks

@polluelo20032002 Agreed. I turn off my mobile 3G connection when I'm at work (Retail sales floor) and it does wonders for extending the battery life of my Droid Incredible. I don't need my phone to be connected to the Internet when I am not actually using it. Battery technology hasn't caught up with the power of these phones yet (basically these phones are small computers now a days)
