  • Not a great pull, but hey, you got a Skull Lord. That's the best piece of the set IMO, not to mention it looks awesome.

  • Your Live in New Jersey? SO THATS WHERE ALL THE DND MINI'S ARE!!!!

  • sorry if i burst ur bubble, but that set didnt look too good :/

  • Hi gamers. please help the new wargames webzine with free advertising "online warlords magazine" we need articles on wargames and rpgs from you. please subscribe!

  • Haha, a dinosaur, a bear, a trap, what next?

  • 2:15 that must be the jaws of nasty snatching from the penny arcade dnd podcast 2.

  • So, you have these in front of Heroscape, (a game which I love). And I was wondering, are these figs the same basic size as the figs in heroscape? I've been looking for what games have figs that I could "port" over to use with heroscape.

I can do the cards and all that, but I don't want to have a bunch of really tiny figures, or really big ones, (a couple is fine, but I'm talking about all of them.)

    Thanks, :D

  • In my opinion the D&D miniatures are slightly smaller in scale. But the odd thing is that there actually is a D&D Heroscape Master Set coming out. They just took some reprint D&D miniatures and put them on Heroscape bases and made Heroscape stat cards. It's official. Check out the Wizards of the Coast website O.o'

  • @lynxswift well yeah, I know about that, I just want more figures. lol

  • @JacobSheppard no They arent not at all. It sucks because I wanted to use the hero scape figures in D&D but I couldnt.

  • looks like the paintjob on the bear is pretty good

  • thats not funny

  • were do u get booster sets?

  • I pick them up at local gaming and comic shops. I also find them at Target and Barnes and Noble. You can also order them online from Amazon or Cool Stuff Games.

  • Quite honestly, the dwarf paladin was the only figure I wanted from the set because I looked over the stat cards on the DDM Guild site, and his was the only one that impressed me. I could have purchased it as a single online, but I bought the full set at the comic shop because I wanted to spend money there since that's where I play. Overall the sculpts and paintjobs are nice; they look better in hand than they do in the preview photos. A few of the minis are repaints, but most of them are new.

  • Very cool. Thanks for the info :).I hope to find a set soon :).

  • Yeah, that's a cool piece (no pun intended). I got the Divine Heroes I set yesterday, mainly because I wanted the dwarf paladin (his stat card is incredible!).

  • I haven't seen the Heroes sets in stores yet :(. How are they? How do you like the scultps/paintjobs? What are the new cards like? Heheheheh so many questions. I hope to get some of the sets soon myself :).

  • I think my favorite Demonweb piece is the Vicious Bearded Devil. I managed to pull one from a booster I bought at Barnes & Noble. My wife insisted on opening it in the coffee shop, and there he was!

  • Heheheheh now that I've been making these unboxing videos, I have to wait till I get home to open up the boosters :(. Before that I would rip them open right outside the store :). My favorite mini is the Large Ice Elemental from the Unhallowed set :).

  • "Why do I subject myself to such randomness?" That is a classic line, my friend! I have often wondered the same thing. There is just something exciting about buying a booster. I mean, you can buy singles on eBay or something, but I think I'm compelled by the mystery of the booster pack.

  • Boosters are great fun, especially if I haven't seen many online previews :). Always a fun surprise in every box :).

  • Hey great video .

I have a question what game is the best d&d or monster apoc.

I dont now the rules of any of the game.

But what game is the cheapest and easyst to play.

  • I would definitely say the D&D minis game is the easiest to play. ALthough the one problem is that Wizrds of the Coast has stopped supporting the game, and will now only give stat cards with the D&D RPG game stats in future expansions. The Star Wars minis game is pretty good and cheap too. Monsterpocalypse is expensive, but you can save money and headaches by buying your minis as singles online.

  • To bad that they stopped supporting D&D

Once i bought horrorclix and 2 days later they stopped making expesions

  • I can get a few stets from D&D

Which sets do you need to play te game with 3 friends

  • I would suggest the latest ones from after the rules revision. Which would be Dungeons of Dread, Against the Giants, and Demonweb. The current starter set would also be needed, which has the rules, maps and a 20 sided die. It is the one that includes a large Green Dragon miniature.

  • Thanks i will order the dungeons of dread starterset and Against the Giants Huge Pack

  • Cools, let me know how things go and what minis you get in your booster. Have fun :).

  • Sure i sendt you a message with the minis i got.

  • loev these unbioxing vids, i want to get some more boosters.

soo many doubles in my 4 desert of desolation :(

  • Thanks man. Let us know if you get anything good in your boosters :). As for me I'm waiting on the next expansion, which wil have a visible large figure per booster. Will be interesting to see if the new set will be worth it.

  • okkay kool thanx

  • im a dnd fan myself... dont stop making these vids...

i might post some of these myself so check them out if i post any

  • Cools, thanks :). Currently I am waiting for the next expansion for the next D&D minis unboxing. Let me know when you post a video, I'll check it out.

  • Just wondering, but are you saddened about how WOTC is going to stop producing the random packs? The new packs coming with heroes look like they only have three in them. And what about monsters? I don't see any listed for the future yet...

  • I read an article on the WOTC site saying the heroes will be non-random visible packs and they will have monster boosters with a large monster visible and the rest still random in the pack. What I am upset about though is that they will no longer provide stat cards for the skirmish game :(. I really liked the skirmish game as it was quick to play with little prep time. Sad that it's dead now :(.

  • Hopefully they will change their mind about the skirmish game and release that side of the cards for them online in the future.

Right now I'm just spending money out the arse trying to buy as many minis as possible, starting with the older series. I'm just particular when I'm DMing and want minis to look as close to the monster as possible, if not actually be the monster.

  • how much did you pay for it sorry for the stupid question

  • Got it for $14.99 plus tax which is the normal retail price. You can find it cheaper though sometimes, especially online.

  • Your videos provide all the thrills and spills of opening a new booster...without having to buy the booster.

  • Heheheheh cools, glad the videos serve some purpose :). I was worried about the randomness not being interesting. But yeah, I hope everyone's rooting for me to pull something good in the next booster :).

  • Agreed, love the thrills of opening boosters:)

  • Cools, glad you all like :). I'll most likely have some new boosters after New York Comic Con next weekend :). It's funny, cause making these videos kills me, cause I can't open the boosters right away when I buy them, heheehehhehe :). Have to wait till I get home to video the unboxings :),

  • Hehehe, know what you mean^^
