We live in a screwed up society, here in America.. Its kinda sad that Doctors can put money over a patients life.. If a patient was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer, and his Health insurance is terminated the next day. Therefore he can stay at home at wait for death because No Doctor isn't going to treat him with no Health insurance.. Thats the wonderful United States of America! ! !

Do like I do... Before I had health insurance, I laughed at the bills. If you can't pay it, you just can't pay it. My motto for my rent, energy or any other bill is "you'll get it when I get it."
It does suck. I have a friend who has about $54,000 worth of medical bills. It's ridiculous. But then you have to think about it from the other side of the fence. Doctors and medical staff need to get paid. They didn't go through so much school for nothing. They kinda deserve it. A lot of them also have huge debt from student loans when they graduate. It's stupid how professional athletes make millions, but doctors who actually save lives don't make anywhere near that.
You used to be able to apply for charity care where you didn't have to pay or they based payment on your income. I don't know if they still do that but worth looking into if you are interested.

I just never thought it made any sense to not have UHC. Why not? Other countries have it. Times like this I wish I was born in Canada.

President Obama signed healthcare law last year that now helped as many as 2.5 million young adults get health insurance, over the last year children can remain on their parents' health insurance plans until they turn 26..... Thank god i'm under 26 years old. lol

Yeah. Obama has been trying to get medical to the poor, but he's fighting all those who feel their giving the poor enough as it is.
They feel America is going broke paying for the poor ( food, housing, THEIR children) and at what point do they take responsibility for any of it.
