You do not have to have a pc to get Xbox live, and many things cn disrupt the signal when using wireless adapters. Once again, router and modem must support Xbox live, and you can find this on the box that they came in. As far as wired connections go, your internet speed may not be fast enough to support live. I would suggest calling your Internet provider for this information.

In order to have access to Xbox Live, you need this: A router AND modem that both support Xbox Live. Then if your Xbox is directly connected, make sure your Internet speed is fast enough to compensate for computer usage+Xbox live.

First thing is first, make sure your router/modem supports live. Then if you have a wired connection(connected to router directly), im not sure what the problem could be. Call the geek sqaud.

Killarob it's just your connection that is bad. You can't change it unless you change some sort of component like your router or modem. Or you could change their position in your house.
