I was also there was in the tent. Born again 73' lived at the 'House of Psalms' went to the tent with the rest of the hippies.the 1st concert i saw was andre crouch and the diciples.More concert sat nights in the main church love song, parable, and others.the Spirit of God changed our lives and we are now watching as the end draws near to the rapture and all the things we sang about......Maranatha
Jesus freaks! Jesus people! converted hippies with long hair, headbands, peace symbols, sandals, wire rim glasses, thumb grasping handshakes, army surplus shirts, bellbottom genes....and this song....welcome to 1971.
I was there at Calvary CM. I was a hippie chick and my Dad used to love going too!! He got saved and became good friends with Chuck! I remember at each service, when we all held eachothers hands to pray at Calvary? I remember Chuck Smith sayin how cool that was.. I was living at the Green House Christian Commune in Summer 1972.. ;) There was a bean field adjacent to the tent and we used to just go out there under the stars and listen to Chuck WOW!!! Great memories!! I really miss those days!
Maybe. Phil joined in '72 or '73 when the band came back together. When they performed this before the break-up ('71 I think), the band was Chuck Girard, Tom Coombs, Fred Fields, Jay Truax, and John Mahler. I may have the spelling wrong, but I was there at the time.

@Michelleward4people This was the 1971 recording; Fred Field was the guitarist. Phil joined later.
Btw if anyone has Fred's 1976 solo album and can post ...
