This ride pretty much started the craze of the bigger non looping coasters we have today, which are more fun than the coasters with upside down inversions. I really love the last part with all the bunny-hop hills. They make you fly completely out of your seat!

I love Magnum. x3 Such a great ride. But it's hard to believe that it was once the tallest in the world, especially when the beast that is Top Thrill Dragster is right beside it...

Work at Cedar Point when this opened. I went on my day off to film a commercial for the Magnum, but never saw it!

There was actually a guy who helped build the thing that showed everyone pictures of him STANDING on the first drop raising a beer after him and his buddies snuck up there after dark! (yes, I saw the pic.)

I remember the first time I rode it (1989), I was blown away. This is still one of my favorite rollercoasters of all time, along with The Raptor and Millennium Force! Can't wait to ride The Maverick this year! :)
