  • he kissed her..

  • Even when Nola (Lisa Brown) got older she was still sexy and good looking...

  • I remember this clip. It always stuck with me! Ah... Nola and Quint!! The best years of GL!!

  • thanks so much. I have spent the last three hours if not more looking at old episodes of GL. Would love to see late 70-s to about 86 ---all in a row. Nola and the Reardon's are great.

  • Hey look! Buddys mom!

  • I love these clips I wish they had these on dvd for those that weren't around when they were on.

  • OH LISA! What a character you created, I am a "lighter" love P&G soaps but GL always my favorite....this was a glory period of GL and over 72 yrs you did have many...GOOD LUCK w\Gotham Lisa...you also need to be on scene.

  • This was the only soap and the only era of that soap I ever watched...the era of Nola and Quint. It was SO tacky and fun and Quint really twisted my knickers as a 17-year-old. Wonderful, cheesy 80s goodness. THANK YOU for the memories.

  • Lawd, this was fabulous. I so remember this... [sigh] Though Rebecca fit better b/c of the Mrs. Danvers character...

  • during the years, she transmitted this passion to me.

  • i was born by few months in that period and my mother always watched guiding light.

  • Nola was constantly comparing the circumstances of her life to old movies that she watched. She was the poor young girl working for the older handsome mysterious man (Quint) in his mansion . .thus the Jane Eyre fantasy that she falls in love with him. Nola and Quint did for real later. LOVED THIS!!

  • What does this have to do with Jane Eyre?

  • sooo awesome...and what a great way to get some people into literature. :)

  • Wow...the show looked awesome back then! Looked like they spent more money on the budget back in 1981 (I wasn't born until 5 years later)

  • I never liked soap operas, but I bought a beta-max so I didn't miss a single episode of Nola and Quinton. GL was fantastic during this time.

  • These were the glory days for GL! Nola was such a delight, one of my all-time favorite characters.

  • This show certainly made reading Jane Eyre in 10th grade a lot more fun. And then I wrote a paper about the book "Rebecca" and get an A when everyone else failed because they used Cliff Notes. Ha

  • I love them! Is there a way I can save them on my computer and burn them to a CD? Or is that illegal?

  • These Quola videos are wonderful!! Thank you!!

  • I'm thrilled you are enjoying them. There's plenty more to come!

  • Do U have the "Now, Voyager" one???? PLEASE!
