  • What is the font of the 'reflections of" and 1963 you are using in the video?

  • @Nikonman2000 Andes =]

  • Graduated from highschool in 1963. Then the military and on to university. But I certainly had a flashback (absolutely positively) from this music. Best memory? Essex - easier said than done.

  • @lgcrooks yep.. music will jog the ol' thinker =]

  • When I heard the Essex it reminded me of the year we attended the American Guild of Music in Buffalo. There were about 2000 music students there. If you were one of them, like I was, let's here from you.

  • Thanks for the memories and what a great compilation! A lot of these are my favorites as well.

I also was 15 in 1963, got my learner's permit. What a great year for music, in fact the best ever in my opinion! My Top 4 songs of all time are from 1963:

1 Heat Wave - Martha And The Vandellas

2 Hey Girl - Freddie Scott

3 Just One Look - Doris Troy

4 Anyone Who Had A Heart - Dionne Warwick

  • @QuentinQuatermass Thank you for commenting. 1963 was indeed a good year at 15! :o)

  • 17 in the May of 1963 working as a Telegram Boy for the GPO riding a 125cc BSA Bantam around South Manchester based at 95 Lapwing Lane West Didsbury....

  • I was born 1963. Intersting to hear music from that year

  • @dkpolle 1963 was a milestone in my life and one of my favorite years for music and memories. I was 15 years old, had my first job cooking chicken at KFC [the first year for them], my first chance at love. What a special year it was. After I saved up $130 from working [$1.35/hour!], I bought a stereo console - I loved music even at that time. The first 45rpm record I bought was Chad and Jeremy's, A Summer Song in 1964. What sweet memories. :))

  • @ManicGrasshopper ever see 'American Dreams?" You and Meg Pryor have something in common, cause she was 15 in 1963, and danced on Bandstand.

  • @Jantv81 no, I never saw American Dreams, but it sounds fun =]

  • @ManicGrasshopper Its on DVD, please check it out, cause I promise, you will love it!! More of a sixties nostalgia type drama.

  • @dkpolle absolutely.....going on 49 & it IS SOO AWESOME TO HEAR how its changed now i appreciate great music of my era vs the bs that now plays

  • @4615larkc =]
