@HIVisaLIE wiki says : "He had been scheduled to play with Mangione and the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra on February 13, 2009, but was killed the night before in the crash of Continental Connection Flight 3407 together with fellow band member, Coleman Mellett.[2] He was 65."
I know I am getting nmore mature when I can say I recall seeing Jerry, Chuck and I believe Muff Potter at the Embassy Tavern on Young Street in Toronto in some forgotten time. The time is forgotten, but never the sweet sounds. Love to drive to this and Hill where the Lord hides.

God, they blend flawlessly. A great song. Thank's for uploading. On a sidenote, my Aunt went to Eastman with Mr. Mangione.

I saw Gerry with Chuck twice in a small jazz club in Syracuse. I remember Gerry walking around the stage and playing everything.
A great talent, we will miss Gerry.

Some very nice soloing on flugelhorn and soprano! Really like the bass lines on this too.

Hey Satchmo. Yeah the bass line is great isn't it. Talk about blisters. This is a very fast tempo. I'd be falling all over myself.
RIP Gerry. Thanks for the memories and enjoyment. You are already missed.
