  • @p0rt3r180 I know what you mean, after a little while I found that all the moves are is a bunch of fundamental motions put together. After that I started to feel like I knew moves that I had never even seen

  • best wrestling series on youtube

  • I just watched and laughed.

  • this move isnt as hard as it looks to hit in a match the only issue is getting the leg off when people are actually not letting you

  • Wow, this is something I don't think I would ever be able to do in practice, let alone hit it in matches lmao.

  • nobody is gunna do this stuff in a match

  • I would just hold and pin him at 0:21

  • 0:12 ha "coach prince has an over TIIIIIMMe"

  • this actually works, its really simple. It happens if you shoot in and are caught in the opponents sprawl. Very uncomfortable but very effective.

this doesn't work in mma or BJJ because you will be caught in an inverted triangle choke. This is strictly for collegiate/scholastic wrestling

  • @RudyfulDeBeautiful I think it could be adapted so your neck isn't in danger. I can see myself using this and set up a modified kneebar or toehold (after turking the leg)

  • @RudyfulDeBeautiful Unless you pull off a kneebar (or other leglocks. The kneebar setup is quite apparent, but I also see a potential calf crusher from that position) before a triangle can be sunk in. It's hard to pull off a triangle on someone who has you on side mount anyway, even inverted triangles. Still, the wrestling here will help anyone's game in establishing a better position and control

  • This is oficially the most complex takedown ever...

  • its not even worth trying in a match!

  • @akdouggernaut which is why if you learn it, you're opponents will be confused

  • @np494609 I didn't say it wasn't cool, everyone. Just more advanced than what we commonly see in my part of the world. I've learned it since, and taught it to a couple people. It does work.

  • @akdouggernaut LOL i was looking at this.... and i was like shiiiitttttt. who the fuck would try this shit in a match..id have to like take a time out and look at the vid one more time right b4 i try it.

  • i went to the granby school of wrestling and these guys make it look so easy its not its hard as fuck! its so technical and they dont give you hardly any time to drill but it does help the shit you learn here is official!

  • zach Tanelli hit this moves in midland finals against tsirtsis! It is a very effective move

  • its never too late to try something new im in the 9th grade been wreslting for 2 years (my second) its intense, and your going to get pounded on a bit but hey try it and see what you think

  • hey u think u could categorize these videos into pin moves, single legs, doubles, etc? cas im trying to find more ways to pin somebody but im having trouble finding videos in that category.

  • you should probably just ask your coach. or go to clinics. really its the best way.

  • I'm planning on trying out for wrestling in my junior high school year. I've had no experience with sports before except for football in my sophmore year...

Is that a bit late to start wrestling?

  • no, i've seen ppl start their senior year. you'll just never be on varsity and barely jv.

  • Aw, thats not too encouraging :(

  • how big is ur skool guy?

  • That's not true, people have made varsity first or second year wrestling. It's quite possible that he make varsity team.

  • yea, i take it back.

  • don't listen to SE4L. I've seen guys who have just started pick it up and do quite well. Just concentrate on the fundementals. You literally learn 80% of wrestling in the first month you do it. Then you spend the rest of your life perfecting it. Besides wrestling is just a good experience.

  • my school just got wrestling back this year and im a first time wrestler and i can honestly say that im a millionb times better then when i started a month or so ago and i completely agree with you

  • no...

  • omg this move is nasty

  • that fools nice

  • In Jiu-Jitsu and Judo where getting side control (or scarf hold for pin victory) is so important, instead of hooking the leg pushing the leg off (around 49/50sec) and going for the back points, he could hook his leg with the right arm and go for the pin.

Just my opinion from a BJJ standpoint.

  • i was thinking the exact same thing just keep the back points or pin instead of just the takedown

  • that guys voice is fucking weird

  • one of my coaches sounds just like him XD

  • It seems like so much to do just to get those points. Too much stuff has to go perfectly. I guess its something cool to do once you get bored doing the basic stuff.

  • what if your opponent tries to square up and block the go behind sweep single from the earlier episode? You change your weight bearing and use his motion to send him off balance. This move is devastating for someone expecting a traditional sweep single.

  • I've done a lot of wrestling over the past three months so it doesn't seem so crazy to me now. Thanks for replying to my question though. I still have a lot to learn.

  • i think the move in the previous video is much safer, theres so many things that could go wrong with this move.

  • thats my dad talking!!

  • Doesn't Work! Decent Wrestler knows the flop!

  • it works, ive won a bunch of matches using it

  • were they matches against legit wrestlers?

  • yea, they were

  • great stuff

  • I learned this in virginia :D fun stuff steve martin is a GREAT coach

  • couldnt you just keep it the way it is as a pin/nearfall like at :48

  • you cant keep it there at :48 bcuz the guy on bottom is locking his hands
