Final Fantasy 4> Final Fantasy 7 period. Final Fantasy 10 and above = Lame. Just speakin truths. 10 and above lack appeal and originality, and alot of the story telling becomes lost in oooo new battle system! Which isn't compelling enough to keep me inticed by the ones above 9. 10 had by far the bitchiest main character as well, Tidus, only nextly followed by the second worst main character Final Fantasy 12 Vaan. Yeah...Final Fantasies beyond 9 I fail thee.

@GSboyNEO Er.................... Canon doesn't work with Final Fantasy. A canon in storytelling is one when enitiy from a series goes into another one with the same characters or world. None of the Final Fantasy games are canon to the first one, making FF7 not cannon, FFIV not cannon, and FFVI not cannon.

A better term is not a spiritual succesor, but even then that doesn't work because it was preety obvious from VII that the game series was going to evolve, nothing stays the same, it's change

FFXIII third best, great story, fun gameplay (in my opinion, at least).
