I tried this trap on the rats in my house, yeah they fell in the trash can and crawled right back out. They're like roaches they climb up the walls everywhere there is no place they won't climb. Please help me.

@3arhodes you need to make sure there are no ledges or anything they can jump from or to or they'll get out. also, put water in the bottom so they can't jump out.

@ViolatingVideos Thanks. I'm not a mouse-fan as such either. But they are little mammals with feelings very similar to our own. I have had to deal with a mouse problem recently- because, yeah I don't want to share my home with a mouse either- but that's no reason to kill them and certainly not a reason to kill them in such cruel ways as some people suggested here. Sometimes it seems as though a mouse/rat problem is an excuse for certain types of people to let their sadist tendencies free reign.
