  • Get off your high horse and open your eyes is what I would tell this preacher.

  • funny thing comming from the institution that formed the spanish Inquisition that burned thousands of innocents, and for what? to soothe the fears of men unwilling to enbrace new ideas! Do you honestly want to listen to this man knowing that?

  • Amen!!!! They're setting up for the Antichrist and False Prophet. Read your Bibles, people!!

  • Christians.... *facepalm* -___-""

  • Guess this guy likes to make things up for a spotlight. If i were to have a faith in supernatural, it would be in Gaia, the earth. Just like in Avatar. They do not teach us to avoid culture you fool, the "tall blue people" believe in their earthmother, as they can actually connect with her. You are weak.

  • I'm a proud pagan! He's a fundamentalist, Christians, I have nothing against you , but if your going to be on the path of your Christ and your god , as the bible says, Be Christ like. There is nothing wrong with paganism, we worship the earth, whats wrong with that.

  • preach in Jesus name, the truth needs to be told!

  • BRILLIANT man

  • preach the bible, not stupidity

  • You're a paster moron, not a fucking movie critic.

  • @Resenbrink and you have to go to school to be a movie critic? lol...driscoll knows more about philosophy than most philosophers.

  • @Resenbrink being a pastor is entirely about pastoral care. He IS being a pastor, waking up his people from the BS Zionist Hollywood NWO brainwashing agenda

  • @Resenbrink paster moron??? You spelled "pastor" wrong :)

  • I feel bad for Christians who think like this. They see evil everywhere... "Satan this, demon that." Just my opinion.

  • @rusman74x who is the prince and power of the air? look around homie. there is evil everywhere. this world is messed up because of satan, not Jesus my friend.

  • Hail Satan

  • Good Job Pastor Driscoll!! I am a Christian and this is the kind of truth that the church should be sharing! It is the word of God! Let's take it seriously! And for all of you who say it is named after a god of war- you are making yourselves look like fools. This is light and for those who do not understand it, you are in darkness.

  • Please tell me that people are not this stupid. This is just plain wrong and enraging.

  • Anyone with half a brain knows that Mars Hill Church is named after the Areopagus sermon. >.> Stop trying so hard, guys. Please. It's embarassing.

  • Satan doesn't exist. Pagan and proud!

  • You're mad at the movie for being "too pagan" yet you name your church after a pagan god of war... Good job buddy...

  • @RedDragon033195

there's a huge difference in "Mars Church" and "Mars Hill Church". Yes Mars hill in Athens is named after the Roman god but that's not why he named his church Mars Hill. It is so named because Mars Hill is an important site where Paul preached about Jesus. If you're trying to use THAT to hit Pastor Mark then you are really stretching it.

  • He's nothing more than a know-it-all, pompous, loser, predatory ass.

  • This dude just went full retard, you never go full retard...

  • Sure it is fiction, but honestly I heard ALOT of people who DESIRE things to work just that way,, All fuzzy happy oneness with creation.. Then the hard slap of life come back and reality sets in. The movie was fun, mark is right, most movies are straying from the truth, and living in a country where teenagers commit suicide over popularity and moms cougar lust after young vampires (twilight) we don't get it. Enjoy the movie, but don't plan on getting ANY life lessons from it.

  • I don't disagree with anything he said about the movie. My problem with him is that this is the guy who says it's stupid to play video games and yet he owns "three home theater systems". "Hi I'm Mark Driscoll. Everything I like is of God, if I don't happen to like it then it's not of God and stupid."

  • Mark Driscoll forgets that Eden was created as a paradise in which humankind WAS meant to live "primitively" and in connection with nature and that as a result of sin, we began to "advance." Driscoll is preaching Satan's message, not God's. That is, if you believe the Bible.

  • to everyone hating on driscoll, have you heard anything else he's ever preached? the dude is solid. don't let his opinion on a movie totally ruin your view on him. thats not what Jesus would want.

  • CONSUMERISM IS BAD!!!!!! Btw I've got a huge ass Theatre System.

  • haha yeah man its just a movie. i didnt see anything that went against christ in there. not blatantly anyway

  • . When you really look into it you will realize that these stories came about like Chinese whispers; There were the true events that took place and one true God and the story changed as it was retold again and again hence where religion was formed.

  • >Complain about Avatar endorsing Paganism

    >Name your church after a Roman god.

Oh Pastor Driscoll, you delightful moron.

  • @AntiYourFacePhD Mars Hill, or the Areopagus, is the place in Athens where St. Paul took his stand against Paganism (Acts 17).

  • I don't think people will watch AVATAR and then dismiss God and start worshiping creation. It is a fictional story. I do believe there are deep problems with the philosophy that the movie portrays and provides excellent discussion for discussing the TRUTH in Christ.

  • Ahh, sad! It's only a movie! :P

  • this is totally insane!!!

  • I'm a Christian and i took this movie for what it is meant to be. FICTION. A form of entertainment. Condemning a fiction movie is stupid in my opinion. I usually agree with Pastor Mark but not this time. This is like condemning Star Wars for them believing in the Force.

  • @razorback6111 I believe your statement to beg the question of whether Fiction is persuasive. According to your statement, you believe Fiction to be harmless, but the definition of Fiction is an "invented, imaginary story". Is Fiction ever truth, by its very definition it cannot be so what differs it from a lie? One could say the intent to deceive, but if you believe a fiction to be truth, is that not believing an unintended lie? Also, all fiction is supported by some ideology underlying it.

  • @COMSsalC

You make some good points. I don't believe fiction is ever meant to be taken literally or meant to be thought as true, so I choose not to believe it. Therefore, fiction is harmless to me. I believe the same stands for the VAST majority of regular people. You are right that all fiction has an ideology behind it. Even if not intentional, ideologies of movie makers will reflect in a movie. I believe that the ideology in Avatar was merely an environmental political statement about........

  • @razorback6111 @razorback6111 Three things strike me about your comments. (1) The whole of your first reply, although thought to answer my question, does not. The legitimate issue is not whether I let something affect me, but whether it does regardless of my knowledge of its influence. To deny subconscious influence would make only what I consent to able to affect me. This is obviously false for there are numerous examples, such as pornography, which no person wants to negatively affect...

  • @COMSsalC

......protecting the planet (which should be done more). I think the argument that this movie promotes paganism is incredibly weak and far flung. The “religion” in Avatar should be taken just as seriously as the Matrix, the Force, magic in Harry Potter, the Ring of Power in Lord of the Rings, etc.. they are all meant to be forms of entertainment. I personally enjoyed watching Avatar for the incredible visuals, cinematography and to watch things blow up.

  • @razorback6111 ...them, but does in the destruction of self. (2) All those movies you mentioned, while meant to be entertainment, can promote ideologies that are underlining and harmful. (3) You argue that anticorporatism and antimilitarism have nothing to do with any religion, I beg to differ....

  • @COMSsalC

Any paganism went straight over my head, unnoticed. The political statements that were MUCH stronger than pagan beliefs were anti-corporatism and anti-militarism, which both have nothing to do with any religion.

  • @razorback6111...If they have no basis in religion, which is founded in a law of God, then why are they wrong? Both abuse the human relationship in their attempt to promote greed and self-promotion. This human relationship is established, foundational in the law of God. Finally, I do not want this argumentation to come off disrespectful for it is not meant to be. This is a hard issue, either we say no entertainment or we believe entertainment cannot be harmful, both are un-arguable.

  • @razorback6111 to be honnest, i'dd rather believe in the force than a god that allows it's power to be abused by people like this to launch bloodthirsty crusades.....

  • I didn't think this movie was good at all, but for different reasons, and yes I'm Christian. I just thought it was too long and too predictable. I connected a lot of stuff with StarCraft and Pocahontas and all the stories of indians being invaded by whites. I also saw a bug that looked like Leonardo Da Vinci's idea for a helicopter

  • That movie was a good movie, and I'm Christian. I thought, "Hey, that was a good movie" and then I went on with my life. I didn't kiss a tree, or kill a load of people, I just thought it was good.

  • Avatar is a movie promoting the upcoming NEW AGE MOVEMENT. They call it the "Age of Aquarius". It is inspiring the revolution against the elites; the military, the government. Notice the ONE EYE on the cover; signifying the Eye of Horus. All very demonic and occultic stuff. It promotes PANTHEISM; God is a force, god is all, ''we are one'', consciousness creates reality and so on. all that new age luciferian garbage.

  • Mark Driscoll is right and he knows what he is talking about. So many ignorant people need to try opening the Bible and realize that the God of the Bible is the only living God and that these pagan gods don't exist. It says in the Bible that are no gods besides the God of the Bible. Duh.

  • Paganism was around WAY before your "religion" was.

  • @SinfulGadgets

thats exactly correct. the very first religious system began after the flood in BABYLON with the ''mighty one who rebelled'', a man called NIMROD and his wife Semiramas. They created the Idolatrous, PAGAN religion collectively known as the MYSTERIES. In Egypt, it was Isis/Osiris/and Horus. This pagan system spread throughout the world creating systems such as Catholicism, Islam, Hinduism and so many more. The Bible forbids all idolatry.

  • @SinfulGadgets

Jesus did not preach religion, He rebuked it. He called the religious leaders of His day HYPOCRITES; a Den of Vipers, "Ye are of your father the Devil" [John 8:44]. Woe to those who honor Him with their lips but hearts are far from Him. The Book of Revelation speaks of MYSTERY BABYLON; the great mother of harlots. The Beast from the sea. This is the Papacy. Do not fall for the world deception thinking Catholicism is Christianity. God bless.

  • "to use people"

yeah i know where this is going.

  • Avatar was about imperialism, not paganism. He's completely missed the point of the movie.

  • @whisperdruid I like Mark alot. And I CAN see where he is coming from. And also I agree with the reasons behind his outlook. BUT... I do think he is going farther into this than the viewers themselves. I think that the first impression of the underlying Tone of the movie is what you said... Imperialism. But that doesn't mean that Mark's crazy either. (I know you didn't say he was lol) I'm just sayin.

  • Another bigoted hater cloaked in 'religion'.

  • @txdurk It's funny, if you listen to his other stuff, he talks about how horrible religion is and how much he hates it.

  • so let me get this straight Satan wrote this movie no James Cameron oh and it's all satanic and evil and pagan and should be burned by the oh great church? please tell me this is a gag on comedy central because if it's not I just wasted 4:00 of my life watching a video that I don't even know how I got to watch it . . . I weep for humanity

  • Too bad Paganism has nothing to do with the Devil, especially since the Devil only showed up after Christianity was created, therefore the Devil is a form of Christianity, not Paganism. Ignorant, brainwashed Christians, I swear.

  • @fp3shb Can't tell if serious or trolling.

  • darn it, i was kind of liking him as a preacher even though i'm not really into christianity right now, but this video kinda killed that a little bit... :( lol

  • Well spoken.

  • i like you mark, but you're reading way too much into this. it's just a movie, and a ripoff of better movies at that. it's not meant to be taken as real things you should believe in. it's fantasy. just enjoy the movie man.

  • "I'm a guy just like you."

"I've got 2 home theaters and 3 TiVos."

    Lulwut?

  • U mad satanists?

  • Oh no, a message that's different from yours. It must be evil. Protect your donators from opposing ideas. They might give their 10% to someone more entertaining.

  • Cartoons are the devil. Spongebob and Barney are satanic figures. Fuck you Bobby booshay

  • The most demonic satanic film is avatar ?!?!?HAHA is this guy on drugs or something??

The most demonic satanic and scary thing is your ignorance, used to spread fear and hate just to satisfy your need for attention and your distorted and simplistic view of good and evil. Look around you most of the time evil hate n war comes from stupid people with your kind of ideas.

  • christmas is a pagan holiday. look it up.

  • @numbersCH31vs17 No christmas is celebrating the birth of Jesus in the christian faith. Halloween is a pagan holiday.

  • @metallica04100 you are wrong about christmas. It was adopted from a pagan holiday.

  • @numbersCH31vs17 Completely right, December 21st, is the Winter Solstice, or Yule. And the only reason why Christmas is on the 25th was to make it an easier transition when Christians forced Pagans to convert.

  • whoaaaa calm down there, I don't think avatar was a tool of satan. And thats comin from a proud pagan. If your looking for satan in films why not go after oh I don't know.....uhhhhh..... the excorcist?! lol though I would'nt agree with that either

  • @DocPeterson91 Then you must not be a very aware pagan if you can't see the strong subliminal undertone of paganism in that film.

  • It's a film, stop over analysing it, just cos a mass majority of people like it doesn't mean that it's a) gonna convert people to paganism or b) compete with your religion, NO ONE who watched that film put half as much thought into it thinking "oh wow maybe i should stick my knob in a tree to connect with the world" it's a film... It's not gonna change people, this is why I hate religion!

  • And btw, Paganism allows for a lot more scientifically based understanding of creation, existence, and the universe. Not to mention ourselves.

  • Of course it's a FANTASTIC example of Paganism, which is a much better thing that his idea of Christianity.

  • i thought it was a pretty good movie

  • I like having sex with Jesus

  • just because two religions have a few of the same commands doesn't mean that they are the same. jews who don't believe in jesus still believe that god created the world, yet since they deny christ they will never be forgiven. Jesus said "that the whole world will hate you(christians) because of me. And anyone who isn't with me is against me." Jesus christ raised people from the dead, fed five thousand people with 5 loaves of bread and 2 small fish, sent demons into pigs and a ton of more things.

  • Jesus = Ea-Zeus = Healing Zeus. It is a Pagan sun deity name.

Jesus name comes from two pagan deity names Ea which was a deity of healing and Zeus God of the Greek Gods During the Greek Empire he was called Jupiter in the Roman Empire.

Zeus would Often come to Earth and visit mortal women and have sex with them.

Yeshua is the original Hebrew proper name for Jesus of Nazareth.

So Every Time you say you worship Jesus you are saying you are worshipping a Pagan God

  • @TheDarkangelwarlord According to my bible footnotes: Jesus is the Greek form of Joshua, which means the LORD saves.

  • 90% of your Bible is based on PAGAN RELIGIONS

creation of the world story in Genesis is the Babylonian Creation of the world story

the ten commandments with the exception of the first 2 commandments can be found in Egyptian Book of the Dead a book OLDER than the bible Remember MOSES Was Egyptian for 40 years

  • People like this man are what convinced the terrorists who destroyed the towers.

  • Right. Don't play with the occult, James Cameron!

    That's a no-no!

  • Avatar was simply RETARDED!

  • There is nothing wrong with Paganism.

  • @ATMofAnubis Agree nothing wrong with Paganism and I wish these prople would stop reading things into films. I did not like the film much anyway but its just a film.

Putting the word satanism next to paganism is wrong - there is no connection . Pagans do not believe in satan anyway - satan is a christian invention.

    Blessed Be

  • i love this guy, he is by far my most favorite comedian, his character is even more convincing than stephen colbert, this guy honestly made me believe that he believes cgi blue cats are actually satan in desguise

  • Pastor Mark, God we'll greet you into the gates of heaven after smacking you in the face for posting this ignorant narrow minded video. Seriously get a hobby instead of spreading your bullshit wisdom like cancer.

  • good job man, keep going we are with you

  • I think your mixing up culture and society, culture is the traditions and attitudes of a group of people usually passed down form adult to child. I also think you missed the point of the move it was not saying advanced is bad, it was saying using nature in a irresponsible manner is bad and that its not right to destroy someones home for your own greed while you rape mother earth for the treasures she holds.

  • 0:30

"I logged onto Youtube and watched this video and found out that every Christian in the world is an asshole".

  • nice bit of self-advertisement at 2:16 - 2:40

  • The devil is a liar. Many of todays movies and books sadly are written by people who are blinded by the devil. While i may not wholeheartedly agree with his manner of preaching the content is excellent. There are mockeries of God in everything: Harry Potter, Cirque du Freak, Twilight, and many anime/manga...

  • It's a movie. Stop finding signs where their are none.. Let me guess they were unknowingly led by the devil into creating a movie promoting paganism. You people kill me. This world is a gift from "god" yet you treat it like trash, you appreciate nothing of the gift that was given to you. If not for animals and plants and dirt how would you eat? The only demonic thing I hear in the video is the guy talking.

  • I bet he thinks D&D is tantamount to a ouiji board. lol

  • Shame...

This is the easiest way to destroy Christianity.

To all atheists and non-Christians: guys, most of the Christians are not that stupid.

Preaching love (like in the Avatar movie) is not against Christianity, but some preaching idiots think that they are the only authority who can preach love.

Mark Driscoll should know that God really is in everything, and by loving everything you love God.

  • @8nikolay8 I totally see where u can get that from this video and the avatar movie, but Mark isn't dissing the loving on nature he is dissing the paganism which is shown in the movie. Paganism is when they worship nature and rely on it. They think they are one with it. In the bible it says: don't worship anything or anyone but God. Mark is saying that its not good to worship nature and all that stuff like that.... :) Hope you can see that! xo

  • @missbel14 , we worship God in the cross and the icons, pagans worship God in the nature, Zoroastrianism worships God in the fire.

It is all about God Who people don't know, because no one knows God except the Son, and no one knows Son, but God.

So, since God is mystery, try to find Him with the only thing present in all religions, Love.

That is the right preaching, @missbel14

  • how in the WORLD is avatar the "most demonic, satanic film" he's ever seen?

  • As a Christian i just Watched the movie i didn't look for the moral! But no reason to call him bad stuff just because of an opinion!

  • Seems like this doucebag has a problem with everything...I don't think it's as much the christianity getting to him...I think he's just full ov shit!he can't get laid so he goes and makes retarded videos...lol...dude...there's more to life than christianity!

  • This dude is a complete idiot that knows nothing about Paganism!how dare you Compare Paganism to Satanism?how dare you breakdown the most pure form ov spiritualism known to man?you make me very sad...may the Pagan Gods have mercy on your disgusting soul!

  • Christians are so entertaining. For all the wrong reasons.

  • DUMB

  • Christianity IS a Pagan cult, it was institutionalised by the Roman emperor Constantine, otherwise it would long have become extinct.

One ritual of this cult is rather disgusting, the eating of jesus' body and drinking of his blood - that's symbolic cannibalism, no better than many tribal pagan rituals found in Africa.

  • @marcohorowitz8 you're talking about the roman catholic church, which has it's roots in christianity but doesn't represent christianity entirely.

  • Whoa if you think about it Jake Sully uses people, lives for himself in the movie but he isn't as much of a consumer and he is more generous than this guy.

The overall point of the movie is good. The diversity of life on earth is good and should be protected! Noahs Ark! Oh and im not against technology im against corporations and this guy is working with the corporation.

  • @thrasher1100 Lol corporation? Pastors get paid minimum wage for a master degree education. Trust me I grew up as a paster son I know all the stuff that goes on behind the scenes.

  • Christianity is the biggest false, pagan religion on EARTH! It is the largest pagan cult in history. The True MessiYAH was NOT called 'Jesus' and He didn't come to start the blasphemous false religion of Christianity. This 'Jesus' from the 'Church Bibles' is nothing more than the Son of Perdition, the one who comes in his own name and who will deceive the whole world.

  • 6ix 6ix 6ix...... my bearth date iz 4/18, think about 18, the numba 18 can be broken into 3 numbas of equal value you kno wut numba iz... 6, i am marked wit 666 no matta wut since my date of bearth i have been an enimie of god, not by my will by my mark, ...been suicidal since my date of bearth niggas bin plottin 2 murda me but i murda first... i am 666 , git da fuck over it people

  • YOUR WHOLE RELIGION DEVOLOPED OUT OF PAGANISM

  • @NaturalBornKillahs True christianity does not have pagan beliefs. Listen to what this man says. In Ireland we have few evangelical Christians in comparison with America, but you won't find the paganism that Mark Driscoll says is rampant in America.

  • @irishxxkelt thiz guy iz a psychopath out for suckers n there money he dont give a fuck about you, all he does iz bash everything he doesent talk about any lifegiving properties at least i havent seen him, you wanna hear truth brotha listen to the words of the RasTafari, that my friend iz pure truth knowledge n wisdom

  • Comment removed

  • @irishxxkelt and the word "christian" has nothing to do wit the word "christ" in fact christian is from a whole seprate language, which iz sanscript which to the best of my knowledge iz the language spoken by demons, tounges iz also spoken by demons but only wen they run there energy thru people, like you see happen in ALOT of christian churches, actually any churche that praise the false christ's name "jesus" the real christ wus yoshua, no known as RasTafari Makkononen H.I.M. Haile Selassie I

  • @NaturalBornKillahs First of all it is difficult for me to read your very bad spelling and grammar.

  • @irishxxkelt ooookkkkk... wheres second??? you gittin on me cuz i spell shit wrong, nigga i spell wrong on purpose cuz i dont give a fuck bout spelling, the grammer thing yea blame my teacher 4 boring me to sleep every goddamn day, NOW READ DA MUTHAFUCKIN COMMENT AND SHUT DA FUCK UP, and lastly

  • @NaturalBornKillahs Give up the ganja and grow up!

  • @irishxxkelt eat shit n die bitch

  • How mature, how intelligent! How old are you? 11?

  • @irishxxkelt im 21 numnuts

  • @NaturalBornKillahs Don't argue with this guy, he's a troll, I've seen him before.

  • @irishxxkelt I was in error, Natural born Killah is the troll.

  • @sparksza1 He is just some immature teenager. He makes out he is a big person in the 'hood but is probably a skinny white boy with spots...

  • @irishxxkelt Rastafari iz a direct descent of king david n queen sheba, he iz know as the proficiesed "root of david" ya dig

  • Let's see: An ideology of dependency which infantilizes believers, a high in-group chauvanism, inability to empathize with or cooperate with non-group members, a pathological fear of nature and open-minded spirituality, an inability to grow and change (stagnant scriptures)... Yep, to this "Eastern pagan", Christianity as here espoused seems pretty damn demonic!

  • So wait, the visuals are designed by Satan to make people emotionally connect? What, did they outsource the effects department to Hell or something? Like were there demons walking around on the set? Like I really have no idea where he was going with this.

Also: Degree in Communications. This. Explains. Everything.

  • Comment removed

  • I guess he hates the Disney film Pocahotas too, which means we couldn't have been friends when I was 6 because that is all I watched. No painting with all the colors of the wind for Mark.

  • Yes, hate paganism, then have "Church" on SUNday. Protesting Catholics are funny.

  • @ChildofYeshua777 You are very ignorant of other languges. Do you realise that in other European languages that Sunday is translated as The Lord's Day...........................

  • @irishxxkelt Yeah, thanks to Constantine. YHVH's Shabbat is friday sundown to saturday sundown.

  • @ChildofYeshua777 I know when the Jews celebrate Shabbat. I actually celebrated it once in Jerusalem in 1981.

  • (cont'd) The military and corporation was trying to destroy it for the sake of profit. The story of this film also mirrored Native American oppression - would he call that culture pagan and depraved? James Cameron isn't a believer of any faith but I think there's something to be said about the fact that his films represent an outcry against oppression - literally and culturally - something that God cares about. I think Pastor Driscoll took a very close-minded stance on this film.

  • Okay, I like Mark Driscoll and I enjoy many of his clips on YT, but I completely disagree with his view of this film. Sure, Avatar caters to a pantheistic worldview but it is a fictional account of fictional characters and fictional creatures. No one in their right mind would watch this film and walk away worshiping Satan or taking this pantheistic worldview seriously. Also, I take offense at his comment regarding what's primitive and what's advanced. The blue characters had a culture....

  • I was so disapointed with Avatar for this reason.

  • This guy needs to be locked up. While i realize most Christians aren't like this, aganism has been around MUCH longer than Christianity. Why did Christianity beat it? Stuff like this. The church has demonized Paganism for years. Now I don't know if this man knows his history but Christians have done some pretty demonic stuff themselves. Imagine if someone accused everything Christian in the media of evil. This is nothing more and nothing less than a 2 millennium long game of PROPAGANDA.

  • Fucktard christians. Now they set up a hate-church in Portland,OR.

  • @DarknessUnresolved this guy does not represent Christianity nor the majority of Christians, trust me.

  • lol, pagan religions are the most fun. Anyone ever danced around a pentagram of fire while drunk and high? Sure beats being molested by a preist.

  • Christians don't hate anybody. Mark is saying that the film is satanic because it advocates that one does not need a saviour/Jesus to gain eternal life. So it is demonic in fooling people into believing that you they can save themselves. The whole point is that the isn't anything anyone can do to save themselves. We all need Jesus in order to gain salvation and we are only saved by his grace not our actions. We are all broken and fallen (yes those humans in the film).

  • This is just a testament to how much Christians HATE animists, even though animists have done practically nothing to them. European pagans, Native Americans, etc. the list is endless.

  • I don't think that's what the producers aimed to portray, it's total fiction. I could certainly be missing something though..

  • So we are to think that being a part of the Earth or be respectful of nature is a satanic thing? If you actually look at the Na'vi, they are just as advanced as the humans, they just have a different connection to the Earth and different views on how to treat it. That is not demonic in any sense.

  • @MsMitchyk Well, according to this guy it is because it isn't through Jesus. *rolls eyes* But hey, he's young, hip, and a good orator. He'll have flocks of people believing in whatever drivel he puts out. Just makes our work harder trying to open those minds back up again. Where's my spiritual spanner? =)

  • @CrazyMastodon Very true, a good orator goes a long way even if his arguement is contradictory. I would also like to point out that if he does not like the Na'vi then what are his opinions about the humans controlling the operation who are bent on trying to destroy a planet to gather resources and desicrate all in their path? Amen to the opening of minds ;)

  • i'm a christian and i thought avatar was badass.

  • He gives Christianity a bad name. Jesus would be ashamed.

  • @somethinglacking1

No, Mark Driscoll loves Jesus. He doesn't love ungodliness (which Jesus does not love) and worldliness (which Jesus doesn't love). Mark is a great example for any teacher who wants to teach the gospel to their church or small group. Has he done crazy things? Yes, but so has every other pastor. Jesus was the only perfect to live a perfect life.

Also, if Mark Driscoll is a child of God, then Jesus is not ashamed of him.

  • I am christian and I found this slightly disturbing... Dude needs to relax. Not everything has to be related to religion. Sometimes a movie is just simply that a MOVIE, as in a work of fiction created for entertainment.

  • What a fucking asshat. I would rather be Pagan than follow this retarded waste of flesh.

  • @MissGueraLove paganism in this video is being portrayed as a bad thing, when paganism is too broad of a "religion" to be defined. There is not one way of life. There is
