You are THE man!! The only video that I have found that actually EXPLAINS the clips and how to remove them. I have spent nearly an hour getting totally pissed off with removing this digitizer!! This helped me sooo much!! Altho I DO NOT see how it is possible to remove the frame and not destroy it/the rubber surround. Oh well All the screens on ebay come with the bezel! and the home button which is acting intermediately. Thanks man!

@TheAbds2000 Ya, there is a piece inside the iPod touch that holds the home botten in place and it must have fell off or some thing. Usually caused by a hard impact.

@EmenWondersNYc They probably can't but I probably can. First follow this videos step to get the screen off. The LCD doesn't work because the cracked screen put to much pressure or the LCD cable came out some how. Pretty much you need to get the old LCD out and replace it with a new one and get a new screen.

@xxxasiansxxx replacing the screen+midsection+digitizer is replacing the screen its the parts of the screen search ebay or amazon for a replacement screen and they are usually cheap and then follow this tutorial.. all though i might add you dont have to do all that with the screen to get it out just move the flat head around the whole thing and it will come out

I compleatly agree with him.. it would be so much easyer if I had the glass and the plastic already came together... I cracked that plastic peice so many times... I'm still in the proccess of replacing the screen so I'm trying to debate on rather I should order the plastic peice or just try to live with this one here.

I do this repair on ebay.  You should try using dull razor blades to take the screen off. I can get off the screen to most 2nd & 3rd gen ipods in about 2 min or less.
