Its also pretty amazing how four nordic players have become legendary captains within the same generation in canadian teams. Alfie, Koivu, Näslund and of course Sundin. My salutes to them and to the canadians hospitality for europeans!

One thing about most european hockeyplayers is that they NEVER take their NHL spots for granted as many of the north american dissapointments. I mean no disrespect, but it seems to me that europeans travelling over to NHL have 100% dedication to whatever team that will make them feel welcome, no matter which team. Alfie is a prime example, Datsyuk is another player who was drafted very late but stuck through with full dedication. It's admireable.
