No Slight on Michael, I've not heard of him before. Who officially endorsed him as the heir to The D'Angelico name? I'd vote for Monteleone. I knew Jimmy D'Aquisto and from what he told me the D'Anglelico name which was rightfully his to inherit as D'Angelico apprentice was taken from him by D'Angelico's lawyer. I don't know if it was on behalf of the family or his own personal greed.
His guitars sound and play as good or better than some old D'A's
