Thats a fluorescent compact light, with (mercury?(srry speaking french)) in it. It takes a little amount of energy, compared to normal ones, do not emit any heat and have a lifespan about 5 time longer than a normal bulb. Bad part is that the mercury inside is toxic, and bad for the environnement. But still when you count the energy economy, its better than normal light .
