a few questions

1. after you do the line animation, do you have to color in each and every single frame?

2.how come the character's outlines were orange. wouldn't you have to change the color of each and every outline? (this sort of relates to the 1st question)

3.some of the outlines were also drawn with extra outlines. do you have to clean those up too in each individual frame?

@Spazkidin3D well the characters looked very bland and dull, the backgrounds looked very rushed in the prison part, the action was done very poorly with nothing new or exciting and the close up on faces looked terrible and i know you could do much better.

@radwalrus What are you talking about? Most animation is in 2s. Top animators such as Richard Williams says to animate in 2s.

@toGatherThinskin They don't explicitly tell you to animate one twos, it's just acceptable/time-saving in the industry. What bothers me is how Spazkid throws around these weird absolutes. "Animating on twos makes it more life-like". If that's so, it's probably only if in-betweening your frames on ones isn't broad enough for you. Like, if you're doing small movements, and you can't get precise enough. Don't sit there and tell me that animating at essentially half the frame-rate is more realistic.

Anyway, two questions, by using onion skin, do you see both what happens after and before the frame that you're using? Because it would be hard to animate in between those frams without exactly knowing where to go. Also, what are the advantages that Flash CS4 has over CS3 (I have CS4, but most good animators use CS3...)

I have a question. In flash animated shows like Aqua Teen Hunger Force, some character's jaws move along with their mouths (Carl for an example). Do their mouths AND jaws on the same layer or on another layer?

@redmarioproductions usually the jaws are on a separate layer than the mouth I believe, but I dont think ATHF is done in flash, I think it might be done in AE im not sure. im learning AE now.
