This is the first group show we've done in many years, we really enjoyed it. We have worked with some of the exhibiting artists before and met new artists as well. The exhibition runs to the end of this month.

Yes as Clare says we usually concentrate on our own solo exhibitions but this International Group Show was great as we had time to share with some very lovely creative and interesting people from Holland, France and the UK.The Gallery owner Ells and her family and friends were especially generous hearted. We really enjoyed spending time in their company.

What a beautiful place! I love the pleasure of seeing things through your eyes. When you describe how it is to approach a scene from your artist's point of view, discussing the challenges, showing us how you want to duplicate colours and textures and shades and tones, it is fascinating and I am not exaggerating when I say that you have made me see the world differently! At your art exhibition Private View people were enjoying talking together about art. That seems a most pleasant past time. I especially enjoyed seeing the young girl listening intently in conversation with the older lady. I miss getting out and communicating with fresh new people. Everyone assumes that when you are as old as me that you are stupid and not interested in exchanging and exploring fresh ideas. I love it so much.

Thanks adventurous eh, that good- so not like bag ladies, thats a surprise. Yes the storm was v exciting. I had been yearning to paint a storm. Clare and I got soaked by the rain and the sand storm stung - hence the sun glasses but it was brilliant.

Bedankt for this lovely video. A real momentum. I have been to Den Helder once on the way to Texel and I know exactly what you are talking about when you speak about the light and the sea. The North Sea coast is very special and so are the islands.
