MC Sniper seriously has one of the best and most profound lyrics to his songs! almost all of his songs are deep with some kind of life lessons/struggles. This english translation really doesn't do him justice to his lyrical genius. The translation really doesn't flow and while it has the overall meaning, it just doesn't complete it. he puts so much emotion to his rapping that the meaning of lyrics just amplifies 1000x. I cried when i first heard this song. mc spnier, ur amazing!

UndergroundProdigy, that's completely true. Every language has Idioms, phrases that mean more than the literal words in the phrase mean. On top of that, many languages have different ways to imply extra meaning beyond the literal words used. Asian languages make a lot of use of that using constructs that can't be literally translated to english because there is no equivalent in english.

Before you start jumping ahead, learn the point of the comment. It wasn't a criticism at his ability to translate, but was rather an explanation on why some expressions in the song could never be translated to the fullest extent because of the difference in culture and the difference in the way we express things as Koreans.

Then how about some examples or suggestions? If you're completely fluent in Korean and English congratulations. I'm not completely fluent but I know enough Korean to know that "horribly inaccurate" probably refers to a dozen or so lines in the song that aren't perfect (as opposed to every line in the subs being screwed up).
