Im wanting to play Bhai Mardana's salok asap. RAAG is needing a revival. The time is right now. Learn taanti saaj Gurmat Sangeet and make Guru Sahib proud :D
@Keerpa It is nice what you wrote but you are not performing gurmat sangeet to make your Guru proud. That is not what the Guru wants. He wants you to bring the worlds in the Gurbani into your mind and act out in your daily life. Gurmat Sangeet is used to read Gurbani which is indexed using musical measure (Raag).
thank you so much. I hope more Sikhs (and none Sikhs too) can learn their cultural musical instruments and raags and sing/read the SGGS the way the Gurus and other Bhagats wrote them.
Simply AMAZING!!!.I pray to waheguru that Gurmat Sangeet will spread, grow and inspire many and more teachers like Satnam Singh will do the sewa of teaching Gurmat Sangeet to the sangat.

Commonly the Gurdwara is called "Silat Road Gurdwara". Sikh Centre is a 7 story building within the compound of the Gurdwara.
