The most recent movie that actaully managed to scare me was "Session 9". That movie really got under my skin and had me thinking about it for weeks. The Ring and The Sixth Sense were pretty good too. The Sixth Sense was more a good movie than it was a scary movie, in that the story, directing, and acting are amazing but it's not really a "horror" movie. As far as The Ring. It was scary but if I watch it again it just doesn't seem the same. Probably because its been copied a 100 times since.

To me, most horror films suck. The biggest problem with them is they have forgotten how to scare people. I can't remember the last time I saw a "horror" that scared me without using some the lame ass quick scene cut accompanied by a loud noise. When's the last time a movie scared you so much that you shit your pants even hours you have finished watching it?

Those SAW movies absolutely suck. They're so predictable, very illogical, but worst of all they rely on grossing out rather than scaring

My favorite is Planet Terror. I dont dig normal crap scary movie junk. The saw ones are just disturbing rather than fun to watch. I also dont really understand why people actually want to become scared hehe. so i enjoyed planet terror cause its just a kick ass ride. If you were one of those characters you would be an exagerated anti hero having a blast making your last stand.

Fave horror movie is either In the Mouth of Madness or Event Horizon. But the only two movies that freaked me out as a kid were The Omen and The Exorcist. Both were scary as fuck as a kid, and still stand the test of time. Killer Clowns from Outerspace is up there though.
