after u beat the game all ur data is saved and u now have the option (for everytime you wanna play a level over) to play as sheva . nothing is lost . but it's suggested u back ur save data up jus in case ur yhe unlucky few that get corrputed data . (likee i have had twice) :]

Yeah plus it has an integrated control of interaction of characters for items exchange and active weapon select screen like RE Outbreak. In other words you can get attacked while you change weapons or share something with the partner.
