  • Glad to see your +P expanded. The other two vids had horrible results. My SR9 is currently loaded with this ammo, but I'm starting to reconsider. Buying a box of Black Talons still new in the box tomorrow, I think I'll load those.

  • They aren't kidding when they say the diameter doubles on impact. Great video man, I picked up my first box at Wally World 2 days ago.

  • Andre, how could you!!! Jean shorts are bound to make a come back any day now and you're ruining a perfectly good pair.

I kid, but seriously. I found that very interesting. What benifit does this lend to the test? Does that make for a more uniformed expansion prior to contacting the water?

  • @Kleinfreak Bad guys are usually not naked when you shoot them. Some older rounds would clog with material and not properly expand. We did not find much difference when shooting though denim in our tests.

  • Another great video that answered my questions. Now I feel comfortable carrying these rounds. Thank you.

  • Can the Pdx1 stuff go through auto glass? Have you tested the 38+p in this?

  • @jmkpns I am sure just about any self-defense handgun round will make it through a layer of auto glass. The question is what shape will it be in and how much energy will be left after it gets through. I will look for a few sheets of the stuff to see if we can run some tests with it. I am fairly sure we have tested the 38 +P version of the PDX-1. Dig through the vids and you will find it.

  • @andreleger2001 Thanks. Great videos as always.

  • they got these at walmart but they dont sell the ranger ts or the sxts what is the difference between the three

  • @3BabyMamas Check your pm. I sent you an explanation.

  • good expansion i wonder how the pdx1 147gr version would size up against this

  • is this the same bullet as black talon but just bonded

  • @unbeatableshooter As far as I can tell, it is the next gen Black Talon (Ranger-T) that has been bonded.

  • does the 147 grain in this PDX-1 perform the same?

  • @The870Express I would say the 147 grain version likely penetrates a bit more and transfers a bit less energy. If I can find a box i'll test it for you.

  • @andreleger2001 Thanks man...hell, i would send you a few lol.

  • @The870Express PM sent...

  • I bought a box of these today. Hoping to run some through my SIG228 to get a feel for them and check accuracy. $20 a box at Bass Pro...not bad.

  • Well this should be just as good as the T series. What is your thoughts.

  • Just my opinion, but looking at the slugs after firing but it looks like Winchester took the Ranger-T bullet and bonded it. All the talons are filled in with lead.

  • this ammo is easily found and could be considered to be just as good as the t series from winchester....high quality ammo

  • nice vid!

  • nice
