Saw Jeremy Clyde on stage in London this past Christmas! He starred in "Three Days in May," a historical drama concerning Winston Churchill's War Cabinet in May 1940. Clyde seems to have had quite a career as an actor as well as a musician!
Lovely, lovely song so evocative of the diversity of the music that was the music of the "Baby Boomers." We certainly were lucky in so many ways. I don't believe our music from decade to decade will ever be topped. Lovely and dear what more can be said? Just beautiful. Thank you for this post.
@izzatluv Thank you for your reply. I used to see Dick Van Dyke show on TVLand, but have not seen it there lately. That episode was always one of my favorites when I was little, but I forgot that they were " The Redcoats" ..I believe you are right. My other favorite song of theirs was the Willow weep for me song..
@DBIRD55 I think they are rerun on the Me channel. Funny you mention Willow Weep for Me....I have the 45 of it and my husband always laughs about that song.;)
I was in that era, yes, truly fantastic music that will never be topped.

How many of you listening (who were around back then) fell in love with that special one with this song?
Hit THUMBS UP if you did. C'mon now. Don't be shy.......
btw- I envy all those that were 17-21 during this time. That era seemed so much better.
