The league totally overreacted because of the Brashear-Mcsorley incident. There's no way that deserved 10 games. Neidermeyer has always been an honest player. This was just an unfortunate accident.
It's not like Neidermeyer swung his stick at Worrel and it clearly did not contact his head. It hit his helmet on the side. Its obvious that Scott was trying to defend himself against a much bigger goon and didnt think. He threw a punch but didnt notice that his stick was still attached.
