  • dude, in 2000 there was NO sc245, there was just the singlecut which has a 250 scale (not 245!!!)

so you either have a newer guitar which IS a 245 or if it is from 2000 it is 100% 250!

  • @usalespaul59 There's an annotation in the video that goes over this point, and a few coments about it, along with an updated description and title that all address this kind sir. It's a single cut. It was made in July of 2000.

  • Hand injury? Do like Metallica does; just sue.

  • gibson needs to get bent already stop sueing prs big deal they look like les paul at least prs doesnt fake guitar parts gibson is cheap now they frickin iron on fake fretboards to look like maple wood prs are so badass great video!

  • How is this compared to a schecter hellraiser c1fr???

  • @daniyalahmed97 A C1fr is a good guitar, but it's not any where even close to one of these in build quality, components, tone, or anything really. and with EMG's, it will sound even less like this.

  • @dsl100stack i buy guitars mainly on how they feel and its sustain. hows the sustain on this?? and how does it feel?

  • @daniyalahmed97 The sustain is great. Notes ring out quite long on this guitar. It plays really nice. The neck is very thick, which means playing songs with a lot of left variation can be tiring until you get used to it.

  • how is it for metal?

  • @DeltyBoy To be totally honest, it sounds freaking amazing for metal. The mid/low output pickups combined with a nice head(like My ENGL Invader)... it just sounds incredible, I can't explain it.

  • @dsl100stack ok thanks cause im planing to buy it as my 2nd guitar thanks :D

  • Gibson and their lawsuits..it came back bit them in the Ass lol

  • @wisesatyr72 Haha. True true, though my main Axe is an '05 Explorer lol. albeit much modified. Gibson makes a good base product, it's just a little rough around the edges, and needs refining.

  • no coil taps on this, correct? Are the PRS 7's tap-able do you know?

  • @intrsoul no coil taps. I'm not sure, because I haven't looked inside. but it's possible... idk if it has 4 wire or two wire conductors.

  • @dsl100stack They are 2 conductor wires and not coil tappable. I have a set of PRS #7 pickups in my 2011 PRS SE Singlecut that I installed. So I know that they are not tappable. They are however super amazing pickups.

  • @ncemt that's what I thought. did you replace the pickups.

  • @dsl100stack I replaced the stock PRS Designed SE pickups that come in the SE guitars with a set of PRS #7 pickups and it made a big difference. Of course I also replaced the stock pots with CTS 500K pots and the stock 3 way switch with a Switchcraft 3 way switch. The tuners were changed for locking tuners. All the hardware was switched to gold hardware. I have pics of it on my photobucket. Look up davidb1986 and you should find a pic that is 2 pics in one. A before and after pic.

  • @ncemt nice bro. that's rad. I love the #7 pickups. they are by far my favorite PRS pickups, and probably right up there with my favorite pickups period. I have another PRS, a CE22, that has dragon pickups in it. I don't like those anywhere near as much as these.

  • +1 Iron Maiden

  • The 245 wasn't around in 2000. There was just one Singlecut, they were all 25" scale lengths, and they used the #7 pickups. After the lawsuit appeal, the Singlecut returned and was later divided into two models, the more modern 250 with hotter pickups and the more vintage 245. PRS later discontinued those for the 58's with the vintage copper wire and two piece bridges.

  • @Magnum5160 You are correct in all of these things :) I've been too lazy to change the title though :P

  • @dsl100stack If something has to be accurate in your description, I hope it's the year, as the pre-lawsuit Singlecuts are some of the best guitars ever made. I have a 2001 Custom 22 and a 2008 SC245, but I am still searching for an early Singlecut.

  • @Magnum5160 that's awesome. I didn't think they were technically any different. this one is made in july 2000, which is technically before official production of SC's even started

  • Sounds great bro=)

  • @borjita696969 thanks man :D did you see my review of the Invader ?

  • btw good luck on your recovery, i know what its like to not play for a couple months due to injury, cheers.

  • @Newbyrock23 Thanks man. It's funny because I just got off a 3 month streak without playing guitar because I tore two ligaments in my left wrist, and I my cast off a week ago. I got a week of playing in, this this happens. FML haha

  • @dsl100stack what pickups are in the guitar

  • @DReidGuitars PRS 7 pickups.

  • @dsl100stack are they similar to any of prs's current pickups

  • @DReidGuitars I wasn't aware PRS discontinued them. The closest would be the new 57/08's.

  • hey man grats on the guitar, i love mine and i know first hand, you wont be able to put it down :)

  • 1:12-2:00- my failed attempt to play blues

  • If you dislike this video, you have no penis.

  • @sk8nkill, you're right. Women wouldn't like this.
