  • to the people who say he had a guitarist.. he did.. tommy allsup. and nick sullivan both collaborated with buddy holly

  • F-ing wow!!!

  • ya know whats really crazy..If the dead could see whats going on they would freak out!!! Who the hell is that? Did they clone me?

  • De jó, hogy felfedezték a kezdetet.

  • It should be CRICKETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @jackboylacroix7 if it was the crickets it would be direct copyright . so they had to change it slightly so it would be ok .

  • no

  • Buddy Holly DID have a rythym guitar player...Nicky Sullivan.

  • 12 people are hungry cause they noticed hes not the real Buddy Holly

  • I've got only one thing left to say: WOW. PERFECT!

  • John Mueller is WAY better.

  • What year was this?

  • he died 3 feb 1959 but im glad theres people charring on his memory

  • MR. Holly was way better then this if i was this guy i would shoot myself in the face with a shotgun!!!

  • very average buddy takes some beating i could do better

  • Key Board...are you shittin me? WOWOWOW

  • thumbs up if you think this guy sucks monkey balls

  • Yeah Gary Busey! --crap! how dare he call himself Buddy Holly!!!!

  • they come nowhere near the shear talent buddy holly had. very disappointed

  • saw these guys live in 94 they are spot on

  • incredible , he seems very young thee , when was this show ?

  • yeah that's cool.... but the REAL Buddy was so much more vivacious.

  • is this Gary Busey as Buddy Holly? he look much younger!!!

  • @0801075001 LOL

  • Excellent !

  • buddy holly died in 1959

  • Long live Buddy and Marc

  • ....................

  • Loads better than that Marshall Crenshaw div. A++++++++++

  • buddy holly i believe is dead and that singer is just a fake :P

  • More like a tribute band to Gary Busey as Buddy!

  • Buddy Brilliant!

  • how is this guy able to get away with this, can you say, copyright infringement? i hope that the buddy holly estate and the crickets get part of the money

  • Drifting away from the essence that made the original "Crickets" so remarkable.

Nothing special here, but good effort, much respect to anyone keeping "Buddy" going, this proves how hard it is to play his music, when "he" (Buddy) only got to perform the tunes a handful of times himself.

  • You look so really! Boddy Holly! He is BACK?!

  • seen these guys last night at the arts guild here in greenock, they were awesome, fantastic, what an atmosphere....and the band is called buddy holly and the cricketers...brilliant..

  • awesome cover luv it !

  • The only thing that spoils it for me is the electric keyboard...

  • Norman Petty did sometimes play keys on Buddy's records and Vi Petty sometimes piano. That may not help if you hate keyboards. I was impressed with these guys and I was around for the originals.

  • @alzopunk I agree, Buddy made it even without rhythm guitar.

Not speaking that voice of singer is nothing near as his.

  • it is not crickters its crickets

  • Paying. Tribute.

  • Its the cricketers. Which is this cover band.

BEFORE the cover band it was Buddy Holly and The Crickets.

  • no thts wat there group is called

  • Where's fat Martin? (rockcliffe's babies / Paul McCartney)

  • is it me or does it sound really robotic?

    no fluidity...

  • Not bad...

  • Love you guys. Do you tour?

  • buddy had way more energy than this

  • Man he stood ontop of a bloody cello, what do you want? Him to run on a treadmill while singing and playing the gutair?

  • coulda sworn that was a bass...

  • type in marc robinson and the counterfeit crickets, he is better than this guy

  • I've seen marc and he is a good Buddy lookalike and a good singer and decent rhythm player, but he can't play leads like Buddy, so his show sounds great but falls short in the reality department when he uses a guy on stage to play Buddy's lead guitar parts. Only the real Buddy had the whole package. This is the second site I've seen you on commenting on marc being better. Are you on commission?

  • Huh... that was sorta weird. I see more of a cheesy entertainment spectacle than any real resemblance to Buddy Holly and the Crickets.

  • I couldn't agree more - What's with the acoustic guitarist and the keyboard player with sax? - Sounds good but big show style is unlike the raw Buddy Holly trio - this is broadway not rock n' roll.

  • I couldnt agree more Otis (my fellow Canadian), I've loved Buddy since I was a teen,,,,TBTD has been my fave song since that time!

  • pretty awesome tribute band

  • ohmygossh that sounded like him when he sang peggy sue

  • pretty good tribute to Gary Busey as Buddy Holly

  • Exactly.....apparently thats who this guy studied for the part! :D hahahahahaha

  • An English Buddy Holly sure that would be the last day on earth.

  • As would the day an american act supercedes the beatles

  • どうやって、撮ったんでしょうね??
