They built in crumple zones, not "airbags". These work the same way buffers work at train stations absorbing some of the impact force and keeping the cars aligned so they don't jackknife or buckle as the technical term is.
Hitting another train essentially has the same effect and a train line almost always ends somewhere with a dead stop like that. Looping the track would ofc ensure you don't hit a concrete wall but you would still feel it if you crashed into a stationary train car!
It's definitely true that there's not much of a crumple zone in most rail cars, and no seatbelts of course -- but when you take into account the nature of the right-of-way, trains still come out on top. Nobody regulates traffic on I-95, for example, and cars are always entering and exiting and changing lanes and changing speeds and what not. But the rail lines are all monitored, and somebody's always watching to ensure no two trains are in the same place at the same time.
Dude, chill out. First of all, I'm straight, not gay. And second, what is it with people on YouTube making up the truth because they want to be right?
How often do you mean by "all the time?" Why do you infer that I said train crash tests weren't necessary, or that trains aren't prone to disaster as well as cars?
Your knowledge of the fact that trains do crash doesn't make you right -- or any less of a jerk. Swallow your pride and go pick up a book on statistics.
Geez... would hate to be in one of those passenger cars next time they're going in reverse at high speed and approach a concrete wall that someone's accidently built across the track!!!

the stations meant to go parallel to the track, not perpendicular.

This is why cars are safer. Seatbelts and crumple zones.

Right right faggot! why do you think train accidents happen all the time then? Why would there be a need to test crashes in the first place?

I agree with TheRealmsOfGold and Holdaro here.
But TROG: Why does your sexuality matter?
thedarkallies: There is no need to insult people. Stop thinking that because your sat behind a computer screen means you can insult people. Grow up.

The wagon is surprisingly rigid considering the speed of the crash.I`m asking myself what would happen if there were several wagons behind.

there were more cars behind it.

those windows also weigh at least 60 pounds each, so
you wouldn't want to get hit with them. :|
