    -Wheelie

  • @MrWheelie19 Dude, I can hack an old tune to your comment "Yummy, yummy, yummy..I got Poutine in my tummy. I need to go to Canadaaaaa" Gads I hated that song growing up with it on the airwaves. but yes sir..Poutine was just as tasty as it appeared..and Canadians have that joshing aw you americans and of course You HAVE to tease them back..but it's done in a brotherly fashion and we enjoyed them alot. yeah cool place, JUST different enough, but same language.

    Seeya brother

    Dude

  • Heh.

Got hooked on one of our famous poor man foods.... eh!?

    It's originally from Quebec, Canada.

There are variations such as poutine italien which is poutine with spaghetti sauce, but all are delicious.

I did try a poutine a couple times in the US, and they didn't get it right.

  • @cobalt120 Hey brother..You go down to the Big Easy down in New Orleans, get yourself a PO BOY, pronounced EXACTLY as it sounds PO.....BOY, you will get a

submarine sandwich filled with some amazing stuff, it STARTED out as a way for restaurants to help people in the great depression, they fill a cheap roll with leftovers and sell it cheap, with their accent down there THE POOR BOY SANDWICH became a PO BOY, and they are now seen as great items for average folk,or ANYBODY to enjoy.

    Seeya

    Dude

  • Looks Yummy!

  • no 80's at the end??? what the frick is wrong with you dude lol!

  • @RonPaulIsiah Dude,

    public place..

    foreign country..

I'm not famous enough....yet. give me a few years for the world conversion to Dude'ness, then I'll go back and claim it as a conquest and plant the 80spodcastchannel flag and I'll be more then happy to SCREAM. "80'S!!!!"

um, if the Canadians will let me without getting nabbed and stuck in the nuthouse for screaming my standard line while holding their national dish in public,ok ok ok I'll just do it when I go back..sheesh.

    Seeya

    Dude

  • @80spodcastchannel HAHAAH i was just kidden. take care bro. and that dish looks yum. they should make a MRE of that.

  • @RonPaulIsiah Dude..do you WANT Canadians in combat begging for MORE Poutine?? I think now..imagine how pissed they'll get when you run out..and man it WONT be pretty...pissed off soldiers who want their own food?

damn, what a scene that'll be..I'd feel sorry for anybody they'd be fighting at that point, they're going to get their asses HANDED to them, with beyond motivated Canadians seeking a bit of anger release upon their buttocks.

I know you were joshing bro..rock on

    Seeya

    Dude

  • Poutine = Poo-teen

Not only from Canada but from Quebec.

    Peace Dude!

  • @carouselle2000 Dude..I heard it actually CAME from Quebec..but opinions vary.

Dude...I dont care either way..it ROCKED!!

thanks for the info..got squared away on the pronounciation earlier, but it never hurts to have a second opinion or verification.

    Seeya bro

    Dude

  • it looks like something my wife wont let me have --- i want it ;)

  • @WoodworthPatrick Dude..tell her it's actually Canadian HEALTH FOOD!!!

    try it..you WILL want it...

    Seeya bro

    Dude

  • I wish they sold that in NC!!!

  • @anderman72 Dude it shouldnt be hard to recreate..it sure aint rocket science.

but, it's sureeeee tasty, try it you'll see.

    thanks for the comment brother

    Seeya

    Dude

  • @80spodcastchannel True! but it never taste the same at home as it does in a restaurant . Keep em the vids comming Dude! Love em all!

  • @anderman72

The original Poutine sauce/gravy is unique, it is available via ST-hubert brand canned sauces.

  • Just to be clear, that's fries with gravy and cottage cheese? Because gravy makes everything better, and the cottage cheese would cancel out anything bad like fat, calories, and cholesterol. Right? LOL!

  • @thebudgetarmory1 nah brother..that was MOZZERELLA Cheese, or the best part of PIZZA cheese..

"CANCEL" ?!?! aw hell no..them fat, calories, and cholesterol deserve to live like ANY thing I saw when it was alive and I wanted to eat it..

"Gravy makes everything better"...Ummm well I HAVE tried it..but chicks dont like it when you treat them like a thanksgiving meal..so gravy is out.

WHIPPED CREAM though..has ..*sees Mrs Dude looking over my shoulder*

    had HAD!!!!..past tense..potential..whew

  • @80spodcastchannel Uhhh... I was referring to gravy on food. Hmmm... what might you have been referring to... let's see here... Mrs. Dude... whipped cream... Thanksgiving meal... OH, silly me! Of COURSE you don't want to combine whipped cream AND gravy during Thanksgiving! Dude, you had me worried there. Whew!

  • @thebudgetarmory1 Umm..*looks around nervously to see if Mrs. Dude can see me typing* actually Mrs Dude goes better with whipped cream and NOT gravy.

but NEVER for thanksgiving..unless she does that "dressing up like a turkey" thing we tried once, but ONLY for research purposes. and the gravy flowed like.. um, well gravy. but the mashed potatoes we both thought were more then a tad out of bounds and we NEVER would've tried to use cranberry sauce in any case, that's just plain wrong.

    Seeya

    Dude

  • What? No green Tabasco?

  • @L8n48 Hmmmm Green Tabasco on Poutine..now THAT has potential..

    seeya brother

    Dude

  • @WiccaIsGood Dude...now that's a thought... but I MIGHT kick it up a bit..

let me get the back brain on it, I'll get back to you on that...

    Seeya brother

    Dude

  • Is that French for heart attack....it looks like fries and cheese covered in maple syrup or something.

  • @black1705f Mehh I'm still here..and nope it was GRAVY!!!

    seeya brother

    Dude

  • That looks nasty as hell, but I bet it's really good. Hard to screw up fries, gravy, and mozarella.

  • @MrSurgicalPrecision aw dude we were wating until we starting doing a tour and they gave us a bathroom brak I saw a place that had Poutine and snapped it up. the PLATE WAS HUUUGE, and the prices very very fair.. I couldnt finish it in the time we had so I brought it back and all the people on the tour got to try it..we all really liked it a lot..the gravy was ok.. the frys were skin on and FRESH!!! good cheese too, man these were tasty. and the cheese got all melty and everything.
