@Mr1337Penguin homie homie homie.. i was a trumpet that year and just so yah know, dont be hatin... we got cut out of the very first part of the opener cuz of wtv reason.. and yah we only had 2 decent ppl that year.. check out our videos for the 2009 season.. trumpet section brought down the walls haha..

This was pretty cool. I'm a tenor player though... so I can't help but critique and comment.... (sorry)!! You guys have a decent drumline. Everything could be cleaned up, though. ESPECIALLY the technical aspects. Like sticks in and out. There was someone, in every song, who didn't know when their sticks needed to be in playing postition. So work on that for this marching season.

AND marching. The spacing was pretty bad. I couldn't tell how many step interval you guys were supposed to be at any given moment.

Oh, and make sure EVERYONE on the line knows what they are playing and when. Both tenors were playing something different at 8:13. It is very obvious when the tenors are hitting different drums (especially when there is a crossover involved)!!!

they pulled it together right before the percussion feature, which was very neat =] i liked the alterations to it, we also took out the little "bump" section out of our percussion but we still have the speed, up instead of playing on one and three the low brass just plays whole notes so it doesn't sound so.. "folky"? lol good performance though =] especially for your first competition of the season, im sure you guys imrpoved throughout =] cant wait till our first performance.

Im doing this same show this year, i play tenors, quads whatev :P [we have a different second movement though] in the first movement the soloist snare drummer rushed a lot, it was a little sloppy at first but you guys pulled it together nicely, the brass could have punched the five four section a bit more though. since i dont have the same second movement and i dont know it in debt it sounded pretty good =] the third movement your tenor drummers were dragging just a little bit but

WHERE ARE THE TRUMPETS??

lmao, im a flute player, and i did this show, and we were a 1A and our trmpets(the 6 we had) sounded amazingerrr than these. its all about the loudness in the 1st movement, and its not there. and the beggining is too fast, and the band falls apart with the drumline.

True the trumpets are a main point in the 1st movement and need to play out more, i did the show but im in drumline (3rd bass) and god the basses are not listening to eachother at some points, but the show as a hole sounds great.... get job
