Last EVER Tune at Slinky @ The Opera House Bournemouth

i went to a slinky night about 6 years back in bristol. awful. half dead and the music was terrible. worst trance night i ever went to.

Slinky played last saturday (30th of Jan) at o2 academy (old Opera House) and almost nothing changed inside... absolutely amazing night proved once again it's all about music and good fun.... brilliant night !

@rampartmark At the time Slinky was closing - dead - no more! The nights in Elements and Pompey came after before going back to the OH. However those were only thanks to Tidy, the night itself was being totally killed off as we knew it then...

This was the last ever tune to be played at the Opera House as far as everyone knew then. The woman who owns the actual building decided to stop Slinky using it (thats why Liquid in Portsmouth was opened by Slinky just after...) when this women then decided to turn it into a real opera house it only took a few months before she lost so much money that she wanted Slinky back hence it being open now...

Is Slinky in Bournemouth dead? I remember my NYE 04 (I guess) there, didn't like the place itself so much but they played some good techno on the smaller stage. I met some nice guys from Southampton and fell in love with one of them. Those were the times.. just wish I could turn back time! <3
