Josh must use the following precautions while on the ventilator.
1. He must allow home healthcare nurses to visit his home and monitor him regularly.
2. A nurse must go to school and sit in class with him every day.
3. He must never get his tracheostomy tube wet or dirty.
4. He must use a special bus for transportation.
5. He must visit the doctors on a regular basis.
6. He must avoid doing any hard-labored physical activities which could easily cause him to get worse.
7. He must always be safe.
