It is a mountain, in the UK anything over 600 metres is classified a mountain.
Been there loads of times, don't often stop at the windbrake as I'm usually en-route elsewhere.
If I met anyone on a bike up Pen-y-ghent I'd push them off (the bike, the hill or both) - it's FOOTPATHS ONLY.

I've sat in that exact spot drinking coffee & freezing to death. cant wait 2 do all 3 peaks again this summer!

i dont suppose you know of any good mountain biking routes up penny ghent. i live right next to it but none of my mates know of any routes, any help would be much appreciated.
