There's some pics on the Styx websight of Chuck wearing an AC/DC tshirt, kinda funny he's advertising another band while on stage. Hey, years on the road, dealing with AIDS and cancer, he can wear what the hell he wants to. ANY veteran performer can do it, they've earned the right.
i was here in vh studio for this, i never saw other videos but it was once in a lifetime show, just a couple songs from each band, i have photos from this night too
Off on the right, to Neal Schon's right....is likely Jonathan Cain of Journey. The bands are grouped together - members of Styx on the left, members of REO Speedwagon in the center (Kevin Cronin is easily visible) and Journey on the right side with Schon on the far right. Gowan's not on the set at all.
Good video and all three bands are like fine wine -- getting better and better with age, and I love the fact that Styx and REO play smaller venues and county/state fairs because the a capacity crowd of 4,000 or less really wants to be there and you can hear the band above them. Saw Nazareth live with just 900 others and they SMOKED!!
I saw this tour when it came to illionois. In my opionon, journey definatly stole the whole show. Journey has more hits to play than the other bands. And btw, the keyboridists on the right is Journey's Jonathain Cain
Hoverbomber.... syx n reo r great bands. Journey is really the better band. N the not doing beter touring.. look at there current tour dates compared to reo n styxs tour dates. Journey i s not pop at all
ok, so you went from saying styx and reo are good to now they suck because you know you lost an argument??? man ur a fucking asshole. hey ever see REO's poprock concert? yeah. they filled arenas like that constantly. so fuck u
hey u hoverboaner or what ever the fuck ur name is. u think its cool t beat someone (or at least u think u beat me) u think its cool to beat a fucking 11 year old.
I saw this tour at the gorge in George, WA! Rated the best outdoor venue in all of North America. Sits high atop the cliffs along the Columbia river gorge. I saw Steve Augeri 4 times during his tenure and miss his presence on stage for sure. The last two replacments just don`t have the same class that he does and will be greatly missed. Maybe on Journey`s farewell tour they will bring back all the former members for a reunion. One can only dream. Right???
I saw this tour as well. Styx and REO were great but when Journey finally took the stage people started to leave. Seems no one is interested in Kareoke night with the band that once was Journey.
Ya, cause Journey was sooo successful before the singer. Lets RECAP shall we,... Journey with Steve Perry - Grammy award winning band with album sales to match. Journey without Steve Perry - A never ending attempt to find someone who sounds like Hmmmm I don't know Whats his name? Pathetic. But hey the guys have gotta eat. Right?
torbobrain.....I was at this concert........it was great!! I live 2 blocks from the venue and Journey just KICKED ASS!! REO was also good but JOURENEY just stole the show,,,,,What a great venue!!
I'd like to ask for a better vid with this song. One that's just the song (the real one on the cd). Somebody's got to have the song and a way to make a vid of it, so whoever you are, do it. Pretty please?
Gowan is in this video way to the right but you can't see him because he is sitting behind the piano. If you listen you will hear the piano, it isn't playing itself, and the camera just can't go back far enough to get everyone in the shot. I did see the top of his head though. I love this song. Thanks for posting the clip.
Nearly a lifelong Journey fan, I went to this concert and Journey's was absolutely the worst set. Augeri sounded like crap and those of on the lawn could barely hear the band because the speakers weren't loud enough.

all three of these bands are amazing.
you cant say ones better than the other. though nowadays i think reo is the best because they're the least torn apart.

yes good confirmation of what I said, you only care about the singer. I hope that wasn't an argument on your part

Anyone know where the rest of this set can be found. I am pretty sure they did a few more songs from the different bands.

Great tune, got a bit of fm radio play in 2003, although this is the only time I've heard it live, and I've seen them 12 times

Tries to ignore the other poster. I've been looking for him in this video, too. He's really an essential piece to this album, IMO.
