to MultiJenik, this actually doesn't sound like any good belly dance music I've heard. I know Armenian music and dancing well. You can find one good example with Tom Bozigian teaching Sweet Girl. Certain modern Armenian forms are like this. I also know Azerbaijani music which has some similarities from both, being taught by native Erjument Kilic. There is a lot of pop music out there labeled Armenian that features the duduk because it fits with certain forms of "new wave" style. I'm not a fan.
@michrigan This is Egyptian music. The song is Ya Salam al Baladi composed by Hassan abou el Sayoud. I doubt that its the original instrumentation though, but it is a very well known Egyptian song.
@michrigan honey i can tell u one thing :)) armenian music is not like this believe me)) i am armenian)) it is like turkish not armenian)) it's darbuka not dhol)) but the music is awwweeesom)) very good
@MultiJenik Arabic, turkish, israeli, armenian music sound the same because we are all middle easterners and we all come from the same region so the music is going to sound the same.
