  • Just went along and thought of the progressions I was going to use as I was playing.

  • man it sounds like buddy guy

  • Dude, you know how to walk up and down & tickle 'em, no doubt. I'm ready to pour a shot of Old Grand-Dad, light a Pall Mall, & look for a cozy corner to relax in. Regards, The '62 Mathew St. Band (1 Man-Full Group Retro)

  • Man, You GOTTA post a slice of this man...I can total chill to this...If you could, could you hook me up with a section? thanks man....

  • A section? Do you mean me play and leave a piece open for you to solo over?

  • oh man i would love to throw some guitar licks over this, do you live in england by any chance? all this needs is some screeching rock and blues paul rodgers kind of vocals, some deep bluesy bass and some crispy drums and my guitar on it and people people will literally jizz their pants when listening to it

  • Nope I'm from America lol but hell yeah I love to jam to the blues man

  • what time signature is that?

    it seems like 3/4?

  • it could just be the triplets though

  • Its in 4/4, with a 6/8 feel. Typical blues styling

  • nice light, nice coat, nice music!

  • Thank you!

  • we are posting several comments because we are at a party and everyone is watching the your vid, nice stuff, whens the CD comming out?

  • Hah, once I get some more theory training. I really appreciate all of your comments, thank you so much guys

  • you're really good man...

  • I could watch this all day, only wish it were longer.

  • Haha thanks! Don't worry more will soon come.

  • This guy has got too much sequence about his music. Indeed it is good but it appears that he follows a sort of schedule.(Not taking away from his talent.) As a fellow musician I understand the complexity of the flow of music and I too play the piano and keyboard and I must admit that this dude has some serious skill.

  • Well I appreciate you comment, it does appear that I have a sequence, but I do that only for my videos, I would like things to be organized and clear in my videos, so I do practice because when its on camera and mess up you are going to hear. Thank you though for your comment, I really appreciate it!

  • I can write for you any sheet music

  • I need to learn how to transcribe

  • where can i learn to play the bluessss :p

  • Practice, and listen, you'll learn, I would suggest learning first with the basic blues changes in C, (|1|1|1|1|4|4|1|1|5|4|1|1) [|C|C|C|C|F|F|C|C|G|F|C|C:||] and move on from there, if you need some 12 bar chord changes just ask and I'll happily right them out for you.

  • oh thanks! yea I would love it if you can provide me with some 12 bar chord changes. and the progression you provided up there, how might I compliment it with the left hand ? will play around with it. thanks again

  • That progression you can use the boogie woogie bass run, or you can attempt to use a jazz walking bass format if you add the 4 chord as the second chord in the blues progression (|C|F|C|C) so it makes it easier to transition walking bass

  • Also if you want the more swing type blues, then add a 2-5-1 ending, so if you were in c, the last 4 chords would be this |dm|G7|C|C| then back to the top.

  • I love your hands!!!

  • Hahaha thanks :)

  • I love the keyboard cam... Very nice licks.. I play a little piano too... your better... I enjoyed it man.. I can tell by your sleeves that you live far fro me or I would invite you to a jam session.

  • My sleeves? Haha I just like the older style leather jacket, flight jacket is what it is, and I'm in Maryland and love to jam :D and thanks for the comment!

  • Cold weather sleeves. I am in S. Florida... My leather Jacket will last my whole life down here. Giving you another listen, If your ever down here shoot me an e-mail, I have an out of tune piano for ya.

  • Will do.

  • Nice.
