I reckon without the spoiler (which is an optional extra in the first place on the SV), that race would have been even closer or possibly a swap in positions! At over 100mph that downforce is bound to hold back the car, Since the race was mostly a straight-line, I think it would of made a huge difference without it!

This 1 with the Wing does 209 mph. The 1 with the small Wing does 212 mph, which is quicker in a Straight Line! I say Top Gear get that car n do that race again n the 722 be eating dust for breakfast, lunch n dinner. Lol

it wouldn't really make much difference at all...that was a straight line drag race..and the lambo has no manual clutch pedal so driver shift times are out of the picture...you just gotta hit the SHIFT UP paddle...and it's awd so you just floor the gas from the start and let the electronics do the work for you.

@McLarenMercedes I'm not bashing on the 722 bro and Richard Hamilton is not the best driver around, neither is Jeremy Clarkson. These guys are tv personalities more than drivers. Vicki and Tiff over at 5th gear used to be legit racecar drivers but the program isn't as entertaining. Type in LP560 snow testing and you'll see Tiff handle a Lambo better than Hamilton.
