  • Cool version of Bach's 3rd Brandenburg. Thanks for posting this.

  • Not quite as fast as the Walter Carlos version, but quite beautiful all the same!!

  • Excellent work - Bach and Carlos would be proud :)

  • Journal Entry #1048 - July 10th, 1721

I would finally get to hear Bach's Brandenburg Concertos! I was in a hurry today, my wife made supper before heading out to attend the concert. It appears as if some of the ingredients she gathered and used in the meal were otherworldly, namely the mushrooms. We ate and left posthaste. We took our seats, the room started pulsating and gradually become darker, what I saw and heard next I cannot explain...

  • Complimenti!

  • I loved the combination of authentic sounding harpsichord with the colourful synths - great! Thanks for sharing

  • Ewww........ AND tooooo slow :(

  • Thank you for your hard work and the post. This made my day--made me happy. I like live musicians, but this is just exceptional.

  • Plz can u make also some great fugues of Bach.

That would be so perfect with this sound i would die for more !

Bach is always perfect in each way

  • tempo is correct here... sheesh

  • This is astounding and--beautiful! And powerful. I LOVE it!!!

  • Please could you provide your opus as a high quality mp3 file?

  • I kind of like hearing it at this tempo. It lets you pick out the individual notes better, and allows me to enjoy the music for a longer period of time before the end comes.

  • Watch Out Wendy (Carlos)

  • Bloody marvelous, you deseve a medal

  • This sounds wonderful on synths.

  • Thanks for putting this up BRILLIANT !

  • This piece was used as an "intro tune" back in the 70's on San Francisco's KTVU Channel 2. Anyone remember the show? I think it was something to do with local events.

  • I love this every time I hear it, just amazing!

  • I agree with Harold Hanlon -- reminds me of Switched On Bach by W. Carlos.

  • I'd be very worried if I was Wendy Carlos - excellent!

  • My favorite Brandenburg

  • excelente!!!!

  • It's great so far, although the tempo should be a bit faster.

  • A lot faster!

  • Great again!

  • Well done!!! I love your stuff. Hoping you'll a) keep it up, and b) send me some acid so i can completely trip out to your amazing psycho-graphics!!

  • i'm going to convert me to puritanism, because only in this way i can compose something like that! ....maybe...

  • to edazdogma90 - .....HI !

Since years I've been trying the opposite line: offering my soul to the devil...

No feed back up to now....but it's worth the attempt, anyhow .

    Best wishes :)

  • indigoblue555

hahahaha, Bach was into Rosicrucian, perhaps he...hum...(hey, it's a joke)

but i don't like the Faustu's destiny, anyhow.

    Best wishes :D

  • wow, bach you need more credit. you owned the baroque period.

    5/5

  • Now now... be kind to Handel and Vivaldi too.... they weren't as awesome as Bach, but they DID get their licks in every now and then - after all, the Messiah is THE most performed piece of music from this era, and the Four Seasons is also a BIG part of our cultural heritage. Bach gets plenty of credit for being one of the top 3 musical geniuses of all time - with Mozart and Beethoven (i'd add Josquin to that list, however - he REALLY gets the short end of the rope these days!!).

  • Traumhaft und genial. Bach hätte Ihnen gewiß Kompositionen gewidmet, er war kein Purist.

  • It's very interesting to se how the Organ has evolved. What will be next...? (They're already making one that uses water to make sound).

  • Superb

  • Excellent

  • Really great work. Has a Wendy Carlos feel to it.

  • What did you use to record the song? anyway... it's beautiful! ^_^

  • Scroll down... and You'll find

  • Drummelskrudd has beautyfully caught the mood of this masterpiece. Master, I bless your hands.

  • OK, just dying to know, which synths and sequencers did you use on this?

  • I used 2 Roland MT-32's one of them with custom sound EPROM's, Roland CM-64 with sound card #1 (organs and cembalos) MaxiKorg 800DV, MiniKorg 700s, Amiga computer (really old stuff) and some digital delays.

  • please make a Bach Brandenburg concerto #1. I think that one is the best. 5 stars!

  • Beautiful. Just beautiful. I want more :-)
