I would finally get to hear Bach's Brandenburg Concertos! I was in a hurry today, my wife made supper before heading out to attend the concert. It appears as if some of the ingredients she gathered and used in the meal were otherworldly, namely the mushrooms. We ate and left posthaste. We took our seats, the room started pulsating and gradually become darker, what I saw and heard next I cannot explain...
I kind of like hearing it at this tempo. It lets you pick out the individual notes better, and allows me to enjoy the music for a longer period of time before the end comes.
This piece was used as an "intro tune" back in the 70's on San Francisco's KTVU Channel 2. Anyone remember the show? I think it was something to do with local events.
Now now... be kind to Handel and Vivaldi too.... they weren't as awesome as Bach, but they DID get their licks in every now and then - after all, the Messiah is THE most performed piece of music from this era, and the Four Seasons is also a BIG part of our cultural heritage. Bach gets plenty of credit for being one of the top 3 musical geniuses of all time - with Mozart and Beethoven (i'd add Josquin to that list, however - he REALLY gets the short end of the rope these days!!).
Nice Nice Video. I really loved your video. Youtube can be a great asset for you. If you need any help getting your video exposed, check out this site called tubeviews [dot net] It has really done wonders for me, I have built 3 Channels up with videos at top in position and this is my forth channel i'm going to working on.
I used 2 Roland MT-32's one of them with custom sound EPROM's, Roland CM-64 with sound card #1 (organs and cembalos) MaxiKorg 800DV, MiniKorg 700s, Amiga computer (really old stuff) and some digital delays.
Cool version of Bach's 3rd Brandenburg. Thanks for posting this.

I agree with Harold Hanlon -- reminds me of Switched On Bach by W. Carlos.

Traumhaft und genial. Bach hätte Ihnen gewiß Kompositionen gewidmet, er war kein Purist.

It's very interesting to se how the Organ has evolved. What will be next...? (They're already making one that uses water to make sound).
