  • This lady seems really dumb. DO NOT follow her advice.

  • I can't watch the animals suffer just for my desire to taste meat. I mean, I'm healthy with my vegetarian diet, and for those that think that I'm weak and not able to fight etc, um...no I'm pretty strong.

  • meat products are bery!!!! bery!!! bad this days , you can get alot of diferent kind of diseases , i know some people that die from eating pork ,beacause they got cancer, even for a pregnant woman , for the huge amount of hormones the meat has !!!!

  • I cant believe there are people out there like this, unbelievable. Look how sickly she looks and I can't imagine how annoying she must be.

  • Great encouraging and common sense video :).

  • What if I crave drugs. Does she mean that its ok and have whatever I crave?

I think her point of view might be a little off

  • Please eat meat. Many Vegetarians do not get enough Protein. If you do not get your protein, your body will take it from your vital organs! You can look up on line how much protein you need a day. 70 grams of protein a day would be in about 350 grams of roast beef or Chicken. Don't worry about the fat in the meat!

  • @amy2x People have many other reasons for being vegetarian other than weight and fat in it.

  • @amy2x I am vegetarian because I feel bad for animals.

  • @AviatorStudios Please have your doctor test your Protein levels in blood. Lab will withdraw a vial of blood for the test. This will tell you if you are getting enough protein. You can adjust your diet based on result. You can get enough Protein from non animal source. Many don't get enough. Children suffer if Parents deprive them of enough protein.

  • @amy2x I am 14. I have only been a vegetarian for a week so far. Are there any ways I can check myself?

  • @AviatorStudios Blood test is only way to be totally sure you are getting enough protein but eating enough protein should be good enough. Eggs are good protein source. Total Vegetarians will not eat eggs. Eat them if that does not bother you. Beans and nuts are excellent protein sources. You can search on Google for good protein sources. You should also take a good multivitamin because you will not be getting enough iron.

  • Thanks for uploading this great video.

  • Vegetarians, please stop saying meat is bad, it's the steroids and crap fed to the cows that makes it bad for you! Meat is from the earth, it's natural...how can that be harmful? I would never advocate going veg, it's too extreme. Rather eat meat once every 2 weeks and as it's a treat, go to an organic butcher (they still exist) and ask if the meat is grass-fed. If not, don't buy it. The corn that is fed to most cattle is what is really making us sick. After all, what the cow eats we eat.

  • @smurfieboo Vegetarians have many other reasons to be vegetarian. Religion, medical health, or caring about the animals.

  • @smurfieboo well, you're right about the fact that 'today's' meat is bad. BUT, people don't have to eat meat to survive. Vegetarians nor vegans are not smaller than others, dumber than others or anything else! They (or better we) are exactly like you murderers :P, except for the fact we care about animals. Imagene you are a cow in a slaughter house. You were born in a room with no sunlight, maybe just four square meters of room and you grow there until you are old enough to stand up (continiued)

  • @smurfieboo then you get moved to a bigger room with almost no space to move, you can either stand up or lay down. That's it. after a year or so, you get moved somewhere else again. From that day on you see older cows disappear forever and new ones come in. One day you are cruely pushed with some others onto a narrow passage and pain screams are louder with every minute. Then blood on the floor, you see halves of dead animals hanging from the ceiling. Then comes the blade. Not very pleasant, right?

  • i am transitioning from meat to vegan, i gave up pork 10 years ago. now just the thought of eating flesh, meat muscle from an animal grossing me out at times even if its from a cow or poultry. my main concern is that i may not be able to give up dairy. any suggestions?

  • Hi hi! Have you thought about intellectus diet (search on google for intellectus424dietcom)? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my mate lost crazy amounts of weight with it.

  • Why do vegetarians always look like they are on drugs or have aids?

  • im gonna try this and see if its for me

  • Eating meat is a huge limiting factor to the carrying capacity of humans on earth. The more we stop eating meat, the more we encourage an overpopulated planet. Therefore, vegetarianism is a precursor to ecological disaster. So don't give up meat and/or animal products for the planet/environment...you'll be lying to yourself if you do.

  • i need help to know how to eat sesame seeds , flax seeds and sunflower seeds .. someone help me , i am new to vegan.

  • XD

  • Vegetarians have multiple versions some eat dairy: Cheeses and such others still eat eggs and fish. It all depends. This was a good video but I think they should have gone over what other types there are.... :)

  • i like how she said like deciding that you will never eat meat for the rest of ur like lol

  • Hey I went veg years ago and won't go back but I dream about meat especially pork crackling. Some people like alcoholics need help. I think the best help is cooking classes.

  • Peanuts and other nuts such as walnuts are excellent sources of protein! :) I've been a vegetarian for 4 years.

  • this is useless, just use your mind, like saying do not eat chocolate every day...

  • This reminds me of a talk my father gave me "you can go outside and get shot or you can go to school and not be in prison with a bone in your ass ethier way you have to get up in the morning to do it again"

  • What has the world come to when a "how to" be vegetarian video on expert village has all the info...haha.

  • 'make sure you eat eggs' are you full of shit? eggs are not veggie, neither is fish. you vegetarians are pathetic. next you'll be tellin me that a nice veal cutlet is ok once in a while. do me a favour and get lost!

  • @blakeyonthebuses Vegetarians still eat animal products. (Eggs, cheese, milk, etc.) Vegans are the ones who don't, and pescetarians are the only ones who eat fish. Get your facts straight before you start calling people pathetic. If a person can get an animal product from a farm that does not mistreat their animals, how is that harming the animal? It's not.

  • @xxxchaotixxx yeah i think that's what i mean? But what do you mean 'Vegetarians still eat animal products'? what's the point in calling yourself VEGETarians if you eat other stuff apart from vegetables? surely that's a lie isn't it? I think that my 'facts' are straight on this one. I'm sure you'll try and get out of this one tho...

  • @blakeyonthebuses I think they call themselves VEGetarians because they eat MOSTLY vegetables (and fruits). They have to call themselves something. Vegans are the ones who don't eat animal products. They just have to have some sort of name for themselves.

  • Hopefully it will be easy for me to go veg..i am not a fan of beef too much. A hamburger once in a blue moon and chicken more often than anything. But not so often. Last time i tried to go veg i felt dizzy and sick. Probably once again like this lady said...it was the protein! Cashews, pecans and peanuts HERE I COME!

  • @wherestheshwa wow, nuts, that should be a fun diet

  • From the thumbnail I thought she was Jane Lynch...

  • ..im transitioning to a vegetarian. great video

  • VEGETARIANS ARE SATANIC & THE BIBLE WARNS OF THEM. The forbidding of eating certain foods is an indication of people departing from the Christian faith. (I Timothy 4:1-5) "In later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, who advocate abstaining from foods which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe & know the truth. For everything created by God is good, & nothing is to be rejected."

  • @JesusonlyYou1 i guess jews are satanic too then since they dont eat pork. what a dumbass...

  • @mconaway002 Only religious Jews. Remember, the word "Jew" doesn't just refer to those who practice Judaism. It can also refer to ETHNIC Jews. 75% of ethnic Jews today do not practice Judaism. Get your facts straight, dumbass.

  • @JesusonlyYou1 That doesn't change the fact that "religious Jews" don't eat pork. You're saying anyone who abstains from a certain food is satanic. My mom doesn't eat shellfish because she's allergic. Is she satanic too? That's seriously the dumbest thing I've ever heard anyone who claims to be christian say. And it's not very christian to call people a dumbass either. You're the type of person that makes other christians look bad.

  • @JesusonlyYou1 so you say that religious jews are satanic. Jesus was a jew! so was he satanic aswell?

  • @JesusonlyYou1 I am christian and I beleave in god, BUT I am starting to be veggie, I like AC/DC, I swear often, and I got bored while reading the bible (no offence to the bible), but still, WHO CARES?

  • Thanks for making videos how to be vegetarian.. becouse I gonna be that.. :)

  • If we’re not supposed to eat animals, then why did God make them out of meat?

  • @JesusonlyYou1 Its the same thing if you compare it to humans. If so, why don't you eat other humans?

  • @nicklee22 you are totally right! we humans kill millions of animalsfor food, and no one gets arrested or getting a fine (or maybe one when killing in the wild without a license), but let's say if I go out to the street and kill my neighbour to get something to eat, I'll go to prison for my lifetime! D: the world we live in is so unfair!

  • you little lesbian Ellen Degenerous look alike! the waitress at waffle house said eating eggs is not chicken abortion! you lying dikey bitch!

  • i started in steps i went from eating all types of meat, then i went Pescetarian for a few weeks, then i went complete vegetarian, im hoping to become a vegan someday :D

  • @bewareofplastic what is pescetarian? i feel dumb for not knowing lol

  • @wherestheshwa it's when you don't eat red meat :O so like fish and chicken.

  • I like how encouraging she is :)

  • @citypenguin Yes, she made me smile in this video.

  • I've always been quite open minded about the idea of becoming a vegetarian. I like crabs & lobster, shrimps ect. my only weakness is seafood maybe a good steak but i can live without the burgers and what not.

  • im a 12 year old boy and vegaterian.... probebly not gonna help my growth spurt

  • when i started my vegetarian diet, i went completely cold turkey. lasted me about 6 months, then i started having unpleasant symptoms of anemia. my problem was that i wasn't getting enough protein, and vitamin B12. but i wasn't diagnosed anemic. i stopped the veg diet and went back to eating meat, in fear of experiencing the symptoms again.

i really want to try the veg diet again. this time i'll start off slow and make sure i get my protein!

  • Try this

morning star mushroom Burger (cooked in butter or soy butter)

onion straws (Like frenches fried onions)

    BBQ sauce

    sauted mushrooms

    Onion buns.

It tastes like one of the steakhouse burgers at burger king :)

make big burger....eat it......you will never be happier

  • @Novasmom08 that sounds really good im gonna have to try that..im transitioning to a vegetarian.

  • Best way to become a vegetarifag?

    Be allergic to meat.

  • @AChildMolester best way to transition from vegetarian to vegan? be lactose intolerant and throw away all eggs in the house.

  • I know it sounds ironic but when I turned Veggie I went cold turkey!

  • Go eat a dick while you're at it lol

  • Eventually cut out the protein and look ill like her, lady you need a steak in you

  • thanks for the great advice. i like how you're not adamant and you suggest taking things slow.

  • I wonder where the elephant gets its protein?? oh wait it doesn't and it seems to be just fine. There is a big misconception about the protein needed. Its not as much as we think.

  • @truthbeeeetold Humans are not elephants. And rhat's like asking a tiger where it gets it's fiber. Yes, I know we don't need a great amount of protein or whatever else this lady said, but that wasn't a good example. Elephants are HERBIVORES. We are OMNIVORES.

  • @ZiveelaWillAwaken @ZiveelaWillAwaken I am well aware that elephants aren't humans. I used that as an example because elephants are the strongest land mammals and they don't require protein. Man can go either way. But the mass production of cows and pigs and the methane released from pig shit and the cows burping is responsible for 14 % of the worlds pollution. Methane is 23 times more powerful in trapping heat in the earths atmosphere than CO2.

  • @truthbeeeetold Elephants have different needs and and have envolved differently, but arguing over things like this is just going to get nowhere. You go chew a dead cow's carcass, and I'll go eat some spinach.

  • I'm vegetarian— I literally just jumped into it the next day, this woman is just pampering the weakhearted.

  • sounds like a good idea i'm going to try it. Thanks

  • i crave you

  • MEAT RULEZ!!!!!!! :)

  • Expert village is retarded O_o

  • " if you are craving a hamburger, then go get that hamburger... Or maybe you could also try eating a vegetarian hamburger first making sure you eat a lot of protein" Hamburgers are NOT ALL PROTEIN. Perhaps you haven't detoxed your body of all the crap and THAT is why you want it. Or possibly iron, if you aren't a vegetarian who knows to eat leafy greens for that. Yes.. GREENS

  • WTF Covergirl is the ad for a vegetarian video! THEN this lady is an IDIOT! The average American already eats 2-3 times more protein than they need (which leads to disease) and she's telling you to eat more than that! Does sh realize how much protein is needed and how much is in that food she's talking about. Don't listen to her or you will get sick. WOW.

  • So true about the cravings, that;'s what they are, yor body wanting certain nutrients

you need to give your body a few times to realize that a certain food has nutrients it needs,

like for me, before I went veggie, I didn't like/didn't eat: avacados, onions, tomatos, nuts, spinach, whole grains, and lots more,

now I love them all :)

  • @MarmaladeMonster I agree that if you are craving something, there might be a reason. Perhaps hormones??? And you do not have to "introduce" foods to your body before it realizes what vitamins are in it. There either are nutrients or not. HOWEVER, our intestine is what absorbs the nutrients and typical meat eaters have much slower stool blocking the absorption. I'm glad you made the healthy choice. Now that you have cleared all that crap out, your body can enjoy what you put in it.

  • @pumpkin44 I know that no matter what, the same nutrients will be in food,

but I meant that you need to eat a food a couple times before your body associates the taste with the nutrients in it :)

Like, when I ate meat I hated avacados, raspberries, beans, most nuts, brown rice, spinach, and a list of other foods, but when I became a vegetarian, I ate them just once or twice, and then they wound up becoming some of my fave foods X3

I do eat soo much healthier now though :)

  • Great advice.***

  • After watching a video of animal cruelty at a dairy farm, I have decided to go Vegetarian. It's gonna be hard for me since I love me some steak, but I can't stand living with myself anymore knowing an animal had to suffer. I know animals get slaughtered each day but to see it really brought chills to my body.

  • Actually the transition is easy. Once you notice that you have all these veggies, beans and fruit and they taste awesome If you taste meat after some time.. you realize it doesn't taste as good as you thought. This was my experience.

  • @realinohio great advice im trying to do the same,,,however i still eat fish,,its been difficult for me to stop eating it since im worried about the protein stuff,,,thanks for the advice

  • @PUCCAPANAMA I did the same thing when I became a vegetarian when I was younger. seafood was the last thing I eliminated from my diet. NO worries about protein, you can get that from seitan, tofu, tempeh, soy beans, quinoa, beans, and tons of other plant based proteins.

  • @beyondthegarden thanks for the advice :)

  • @PUCCAPANAMA No problem Stay in touch and let me know if ever need any vegetarian recipe ideas.

  • thanks, great advice.

  • I thought it was going to be hard to stop eating meat but it wasn't I like it.

  • I'm a vegetarian and I hate salad. I told this to my friend and she gave me the weirdest look. What a dated misconception, you don't have to stock up on salad when you eliminate meat. Lettuce is not the only green vegetable.

  • thank you :)

  • You don't need to worry about protein. Vegetables have enough.

  • @suicidechickenshit actually vegetables don't have anything in them at all

  • @suicidechickenshit That is a lie. You need to eat heaps of nuts and legumes to remain healthy, and also take around 5 teaspoons of coconut oil a day to get good fats in to your body.

  • Mike Mahler the vegan kettlebell instructor is a prime example of someone who has got the diet right, and not only survives but thrives on a vegan diet, and excels every year with muscle gain, and better health and fitness. Check him out on youtube. He is the first to admit that most vegetarians/vegans have got their diet wrong, and replace meat with all the pseudo meat products that are loaded with heaps of bad stuff, and have no real nutritional value for our bodies.

  • Actually all you need is to eat a variety of foods and make sure you are eating enough calories for you age and gender. That is all that is needed to get enough protein, carbohydrates and fats. Just eat a variety of foods. Don't eat the same food all the time. This is excellent advise for everyone! Amino acids are what our bodies use to make protein. Amino acids are in all foods. You get even more amino acids by not cooking all your veggies eat a bunch raw everyday! Peace friends!

  • you could also be craving B12 or iron?

  • leafy greens, fermented foods, cooking in iron skillets & pots, brewers yeast, or red vegetarian support yeast (cheezy tasting) will give you all the iron and B12 you need. Vegan vitamins are also available if you are afraid of your food. There is no reason to fear. The cravings are probably more from habit and fat cravings.

  • Thank u. I am working on being a vegetarinan. thank again for your help. Be Blessed

  • This lady is a huge tool. Nobody needs as much protein ask she's asking for.

  • i agree.... sometimes I thought i really wanted a chicken burger but then when I had the fake chicken, it tastes just as good -- so what I was really craving was the protein.

  • You dont need that much protein. Humans can live with just 2.5% protein in their diet - so I've read. Come on. If you cut out meat, even for a kid, you'll be just fine. Just healthier with less acidic waste buildup in your cells and body :).

  • this is awful.

  • I didn't move slowly into being vegetarian. LOL. The next day i started. XD

    I don't eat a lot of protein either. :/

  • I didn't move slowly either. I found out what meat was when I was 9 and bam! I was veggie. I went vegan instantly too a couple of years ago.

  • Haha.

    I'm thinking about going vegan.

I can't stand animal cruelty at all!

  • Animal cruelty is wrong, and you and me both should try our hardest to stop it.

But that is no reason to stop eating meat.

    That would be misguided.

No doctor would tell you to do it...

You have incisors for a reason.

YOu should have a healthy balanced diet, including meat.

  • I agree. But doctors dont tell you to do it. People do it to lose weight, then start eating meat again. I went vegetarian because I believe thats not humain, or whatever. You can get the same stuff thats in meat, from other things babydoll.

    :]<3

  • I can see where your coming from if you are referring to lean cuts of chicken and fish, but not red meat. Meat is the only source of cholesterol. If you want to avoid having a high cholesterol, don't eat meat. Meat sits in your intestines for too long. There are other, environmental reasons to become a vegetarian. Resource depletion? If you want your children and grandchildren to have water to drink and land to farm on, you'll stop eating meat.

  • @WtfYourFaceHoe ii totally get ya i mean if i went veggie slowly i would probably nevr be able to do it.

  • @garraslove4ever I became a vegetarian slowly too. It was the best way for me. Some people can go "cold turkey" (no pun intended). I eliminated a meat from my diet every year.

  • @beyondthegarden lolzzz

  • @WtfYourFaceHoe

Same here, I wanted to become a Vegetarian quick, I was DONE with meat, I think its so disgusting now.

I am SO glad I became one, 5 months in, woo!

  • @ohsuckitup2 Same same, thought of meat makes my stomach turn :/ 2 years so far , YEAAAAAAAAAHHH ^____^

  • @WtfYourFaceHoe Me to, it's been about a year and a half. I never thought i would

say the thought of eating meat makes my stomach turn but i do now...

  • @shakedownstreet48 Same same. I used to LOVE chicken strips now the thought of it is like "Ehh...". hahha

  • @WtfYourFaceHoe I did too, ate one last bite of pork and promised myself I would never eat meat again- and I havent broken that promise. I couldn't have ever gone slow, I wouldn't have succeeded.

  • @ZiveelaWillAwaken Same. I can't move slow into anything. If I would of moved slow I probably couldn't have stuck to it. And it's been like. 2 years already ^^

  • I just started on this path a week ago. It is not easy, but I am feel good about the decision. I am going with the flow.

  • I found it easy. LOL.

    Just learn to say no.

    :P

  • Why is everyone so unfriendly? It's a few weeks since I became a vegetarian, but if I'd had amphetamine, I would definitely have become vegetarian a little earlier.

  • what kind of idiotic comment is that sexlessparents.. died in pain and you got the pleasure.. pray that you do not have hit with the 'pig flu'.. You deserve it..

  • lmao way to instigate

  • i know

  • Simple rule of vegetarianism: if it's got/had a nervous system, you don't eat it.

The way I did is just completely stop in one go. Everytime I was craving for meat, I got mockmeat or something else with a lot of protein (nuts). To me that's the best way.

  • "never gonna eat meat again in your life"

Thats kind of an intimidating statement.

And she is just saying stuff off the top of her head.

  • Honestly, this is a terrible video. If you crave something go get it? Wow, bad idea. The craving is due to the trioxypurine(uric acid)in the meat, wich contains three addictive oxypurines(caffeine has two) . It's like telling a heroin addict that's trying to quit to go get a fix if they feel like it. Once you are fully trough the detox, the craving stops(shattering the protein theory), and in my case meat even became unappealing. This woman seems really tired and indifferent. Get info elsewhere.

  • i here that im trying to do this. i had a craveing for a peporoni pizza, but instead i got a cheese, it still worked

  • yep it shore does

  • that happened in my case, after being a vegetarian for 3 years, meat is almost completley unappealing.

thats not to say that very rarely i crave things, you just have to have enough self-control not to do it.

  • What it is that you are really craving is not the meat, but the fat content....If you were to eat an avocado(assuming that you would like avocados) then that would cure the craving for meat or just eat the nuts and or flax oil or hemp oil. Peace and Blessings, and good luck on your new lifestyle

  • i'll try that out next time, thank you!

im nearing 4 years now :)

  • Search and Watch this video on youtube!!!!!!

    "Meet the meat guy"

  • So far i have gone a day and a half without eating meat!

but i need to get veggie foods.

  • Did she just suggest that you fall into your desires and get your hamburger?!

  • Worst vegetarian instructor ever!

  • EMO

  • this is a whole new ball game for me- what about raising childeren that were meat eaters.... i mean this is tuff i know its the healthiest thing i can do for my family so im not gonna give up

  • this is a LOT of help. thanks!!

  • does being a vegetarian means not eating any meat???.... is fish included??? or any seafoods???

  • yes any seafood is considered meat but ive seen fake seafood and stuff

  • im a pesco vegetraian.

Which means i eat no type of meat except fish.

it is a type of vegatarianism. I just cant give up shellfish....

  • I just went vegetarian and I'm having no problem giving up red meat, chicken, pork, etc... I am having problems giving up SHRIMP and TROUT, ugh... it's terrible, haha. I won't fall into it though, I'm sticking with it. I'm really enjoying the way it's making me feel.

  • If you eat fish you are not a vegetarian of any type. The defenition of a vegetarian is a person who doesn't eat flesh, fish or fowl.

  • Good advice, I am doing this, I thought it would be easier.
