  • "Say goodbye to Harry and his friends"

What do you mean? Harry Potter will live on.

  • @TheBatboyofdarkness

    TWITARD INBOUND!

IT DESERVES A ONE MILLION OUT OF A THOUSAND!

  • *Reads the Bio* CLOSE CLOSE!!!! HARRY POTTER NEVER CLOSES! IT WILL ALWAYS BE IN OUR HEARTS

  • BEST FILM EVER!!!!!!

  • @chelseaforever10 haha you are a funny guy

  • They should make a Harry potter game where YOU chose who you want to be.You create your own character, Make your own wand. And out of the decisions you make. It decides what house you go into. You can Play the main quest with Harry, Ron, Hermione and many more friends, Or you could choose your own adventure. You can be a teacher at any school, and teach the students charms or quiditch. Or become the darkest wizard ever created. You decide. Thumbs up this comment so Game developers can see!

  • I hate reviews, they call the things I like bad!

  • I haven't read the last book, but I found the final showdown with Voldemort pretty rushed and not as epic as could have been.

  • i think harry potter is un-realistic. i mean a ginger with two friends

  • lol i need to wash my ears! for a second i htought u saud 4 out of 5 :)

  • He's Voldemort's Brother

  • @2003jackb can't spell jackass without 2003jackb

  • cant spell ignorance without IGN

  • 4 out of 5!?!

I am not a Harry Potter fan but the movie was AMAZING! I would give it 6/5

  • ohhh of course they have the british guy do the review

  • @MegaAnifreak Well yes, considering Harry Potter originated and was written by a British author. What did you want a Polish person?

  • 4/5...they fucked that up

  • GAME OF THE YEAR?

  • SNAPE WAS THE GOOD GUY!!

  • i must say.... i bought my movie and i was very disappointed... there was no why do you live? because i have something worth living for scene. or neville with bloody sword scene.......

  • I'm sorry. I must have misheard, but I thought he said Four stars. Ha! Think he misspoke and meant to say Five.

  • @SirAvalord This movie is so bad I'm vomiting at every second I watch! They've cut the whole story to make the movie a war movie without story, so it would sell! Read the books!

  • ANAL!

  • @allhailshadow21 it's 80% silly :P

  • The final battle should have taken place at the Great Hall and could have been a bit more epic, but still a great movie! =]

  • comom Academy its time to give this series the recognition it deserves

  • Comment removed

  • you give the movie 4 out of 5 i give it OVER 9000000000000000000000000000000000! out of 5

  • Oh and thanks so much for your permission to love Snape as I like LOL I feel so much better about it now! He's totally awesome - no one needs permission to love him! I do like McGonnagal though; I really do but to say she 'kicked his ass' is so ridiculous. If he was having such a hard time how did he deflect her while at the same time killing the Carrows in the most awesome HP move ever? puhleeeze

  • OH GOD HES BRITISH

  • read the last book for the third time a few weeks ago, most of these clips arent even close to what happened in the book...just like all the movies >.<

  • it was lame man...

  • @naughtydawgP Why do you say that?

  • @ThoperJ27 they did it some scenes that didint' appere in the movie, they will only show in Blu-Ray!

  • Doesn't deserve 4 stars. As a standalone it would be brilliant, alas it is not. Anyone who has read the books would have to agree how they have messed up key scenes throughout the movie series. Most of all in the last 15 minutes of this one, if you haven't read the books, you cannot understand how overrated the movies are.

  • Fuck your 4 stars IGN this is a 5/5 stars.

  • @Rycan18 I would say 9 fo 10. Regardless, it does not deserve a perfect rating - it has way too many plotholes and silly moments. Yes, I still love the movie - if I didn't, I would not give it a 9. I'm just saying it should not get a perfect rating.

  • seeing hagrid like that broke my heart.. ='(

  • So i felt like rating this too:) I would give it five stars;

one for Harry, who confronted his fate; one for Ron, who stayed loyal till the end; one for Hermione, the brightest witch; for Neville, who showed courage; and last, but not least, always, always, for Snape; who showed loyalty, love, and selflessness till the very end. who always, always, loved Lily<33

  • 10 Years same Like Halo

  • underwhelming and rushed? rubbish

  • You call that a minor cripple!? wht the fucks wrong with you... its the last HP film and u call that a minor cripple Fuck man i wish they can re do it again :'(

  • The bit I was disappointed with was when they jumped off the dragon, Hermionie didn't take her top off like the others.....bugger....

  • I know i've read the book and seen the movie...

But this review is ruining all the bits of the movie. If someone hasn't seen the movie or read the book, they would be having the moment spoiled.

  • deathly hallows part I is already all about emotional stuff duhh....

  • My epic list

    1:Neville kills Nagini

    2:Molly kills Bellatrix

    3: Snapes memories

    4:Gringots Bank

    5:Neviles speach

  • @XtrHalo My epic list is wen dunbledor and voldimurt are fighting in the magic palice and then its all like fireworks and then harry gets all possessed and see's his parents and all of hogwarts see him hurting and it's real real sad. Then connical fudge see voldimurt "He's HERE!"

  • @calummmmmmm my favorit part of the last film is when valdimar carrys varrys body to Hogwarts and says "hes dead hahaha". i love it when Harry falls out of valdimars arms and kills his snake.. My second favorit bit of the film is when harry becomes a teacher at hogwarts and meets snapes son. its a tuching moment when harry and ginny get marreed.

  • @olgil harry does NOT kill the snake and Voldermort does NOt carrie his body. that is Nevile and Hagrid.

  • @ThePiousBird hav u even seen the film? ahahaa i dont think so. adavo cadavra!

  • @calummmmmmm Yeah that scene is epic too but when neville kills nagini is just too Epic

  • @XtrHalo have you even red the books lol? Harry kills the basalisk haha and it's not even in that film lol. Wow you are just too stupid

  • @calummmmmmm I think he means its "too epic" because NEVILLE kills the snake

  • @mobradovic00 What is with people lol. Neville kills voldemort you silly sausage. Harry kills a basalisk which is salamon sliver in carnate but he does it in the second book. Do you even know who Roal dahll is haha :P

  • @calummmmmmm Voldemort???

  • @mobradovic00 Yes..Neville kill Voldimurt/voldemort for people who love it so much you all sure know nothing.

  • @calummmmmmm But in my book and in te movie my sister told me about (since she watched i was on vacation) it said neville killed NAGINI like cut her head off

  • @mobradovic00 I honestly cannot keep this up. I'm trolling the shit out of you. Don't take any of the comments i've put on this page seriously bar this one.

  • @calummmmmmm you sir are a true troll, congratulations

  • @entoxicado666 Creative trolling is more preferable to just swearing and being aggressive. This was quite ridiculous though. Didn't expect to get far with that comment

  • @calummmmmmm have you seen the last movie neville clearly kills vodemorts snake nagini

  • @XtrHalo Yeah i saw it. it was shit. you were being trolled also you knob

  • @calummmmmmm the movie is NOT SHIT ITS THE BEST MOVIE EVER MADE !

  • @XtrHalo ... dude, you forgot the most awesome part of the movie where McGonnagal totally owns Snape's ass in a wizard duel. Seriously; how could you forget that? That moment alone tops all of those you mentioned TOGETHER.

... and Snape's memories weren't even "epic". Just because it's shocking exposition and a plot twist, it doesn't make it epic.

  • @kurvos Get real. Snape could easily have put a hurting on McGonnagal; he obviously chose not to fight back; to be the quiet hero again. Snape is all kinds of awesome

  • @GrissomLovesSara You're allowed to love Snape as you like to. But McGonnagal obviously kicked his ass. Nothing you can do or say will change that. If he could really just defeat her, he would. Else, he would take a pretty damn huge risk letting his guard down to escape through the window. McGonnagal didn't even seem to have to use her full strength, while Snape had a really hard time. On top of everything - McGonnagal is older, and therefor more experienced. There's nothing more to it.

  • @kurvos Sorry, I like McGonnagal alot. I love her but Snape was totally NOT engaged in fighting her. Do you really think that Snape who was living amongst the death eaters, etc etc. would be SO easily defeated by McGonnagal or anyone? Ridiculous. The only thing that makes sense and obviously you could see from Rickman's performance that he was NOT fighting her. Furthermore, Snape had gone through absolute hell for years while McGonnagal was living a rather easy life being well-liked.

  • @GrissomLovesSara That's cute. But McGonnagall is an exquisite witch with BY FAR more experience and skill than Snape. Not to mention - being a Death Eater doesn't mean you're an "elite wizard". That's bullshit. Bellatrix is pretty sloppy and sucks. Same for Lucius and Wormtail. And do I need to remind you the 5th graders kicked some of the Death Eaters' asses in the fifth movie? You're trying too hard to defend Snape - he was pathetic in that scene and got defeated. Everyone knows it.

  • @kurvos LOL dream on; no one has to try at all to defend Snape. Everyone knows Snape is totally awesome. Those fifth graders included Harry and he was no match for Snape in HBP. Snape could have killed him with one flick of his wrist had he chosen to. One snarl of his lips and Harry would have been dead. Remember how he kicked Harry's wand away; like Harry was nothing.

  • Deflecting McGonnagal and killing the Carrow twins at the same time = AWESOME and far from pathetic. Furthermore, McGonnagal would never have had the steel in her soul to kill her friend Dumbledore like Snape did. Snape is superhumanly heroic

  • @GrissomLovesSara Oh yeah - because Dumbledore did not let Snape kill him, did he? Moron. You're just "fantarding" over Snape. Excuse me while I ignore you - I rather get openminded and smart people with constructive opinions, rather than a closeminded fanraging douche. So yeah, don't bother to respond. I won't read it.

    Oh, and grow up.

  • @kurvos I meant that it takes a certain type of strength to be able to kill a friend. Not skill; but inner strength to bear the burden of that act... whether or not Dumbledore requested it or not. So yeah, you're obviously not smart enough to even understand what I'm saying so there's no sense debating with you. Snape is the true hero of the piece with more inner fortitude than anyone else. That's the final word on the matter

  • @kurvos And if I were a fanraging douche I'd only be one for Snape... cause he's so worth it.

  • @kurvos Bellatrix IS NOT sloppy and inadequate. She took on 5 wizards at once with ease and beat them.

  • @Regal4point1 Not by herself. At least not according to the movies, which is what I refer to. Don't mind the books - but I am a movie buff. And even is this was the case - Bellatrix still is portrayed as a psychotic moron who I wouldn't be surprised about if she thought her own socks where alive.

  • @kurvos Yeah let's judge their characters by the movies than by the more accurate and far superior books...

  • @Regal4point1 I'm soooo tired of people comparing this to the books, ive read them too but dont do that, both have their good and bad, just because the movie cant give EVERYTHING in the book... how long did it take you to read from chapter 24 till the end, longer than 2 hours i think, unless you rushed reading the book, sorry i didnt mean to sound stupid, i just love them equally

  • @JACNtv No it's because they were discussing who would win in a fight and were judging the characters by the movies, when there's obviously more info in the book. The person was referring to the movies, calling Bellatrix "sloppy" and "unskilled", which obviously isn't true. The book is the ultimate source for info on this.

  • @Regal4point1 what?!! who insulted bellatrix lestrange?!! She kicks ass in books and movies, just that in the movies molly seemed to have beaten her to easily, but this is isnt true, plus jk rowling said two more min in the duel and snape wouldve been dead, mcgonagall is better than him

  • @JACNtv The person I responded to. But yes, mcgonagall would probably win.

  • @Regal4point1 no, seriously, jk rowling said so, she said mcgonagall was way more skilled than snape, and yes, I know that it was the guy who responded to you :D

  • @JACNtv Ok I didn't know that. But bellatrix is not sloppy.

  • @Regal4point1 not at all

  • @GrissomLovesSara spoil a bit more why wont you

  • @killerpunk6 spoil what? a movie that's been out since July? If you don't want spoilers you simply cannot look at anything on youtube until you see the movie. I hate spoilers but there is simply no way to avoid them online.

  • WTF This movie dont deserve a 4 it deserves a 5/5

  • Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 right now is the Greatest Movie of 2011!.

  • always

  • seruuuuuuuu abiiiiiiiiiiiissszzzz......

    mancaaaappp...

  • I grew up with harry. When the first book/ film came out I was 11 :)

  • @rwti when the first book came out i was 3 and then i read it and watched the movie when i was 7, i'm entering my last year of high school soon and i think even when i'm an adult harry potter and friends will always be in my heart :)

  • @theanaconda666 omg its the same thing for me :(

  • How DARE you give it 4/5!! It should be 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000/5.

  • @Vinman8149 Hah, fanboys.

  • it would have been the best movie if they actualy showd any of whats in the book? my ass its the closest to the book. the only scenes that were added were the chamber of secreats and harry fighting voldemort. but they also took out freds death, any reaction to harrys death in the forest. and the worst ANY reaction to voldemorts death. and nevils shining moment? yeah right, real epic. ron and hermionie were the only ones who saw and the sword reveald its self when he wasnt even doing anything.

  • @ThePidgeottosNest my main concerns (even though they're minor) is the fact that crabbe wasn't even in the movie, and a random black kid took his place and goyle died instead, and the other one is fred's death as you mentioned, and the other i think they should've shown is harry repairing his wand at the end with the elder wand, cause for the whole movie he was using draco's.

  • @KillswitchJohn true but the guy playing crabbe was arrested for drugs so he couldnt be in the movies anymore.

  • @ThePidgeottosNest wow really? well they should've had the random black kid die though since goyle didn't.

  • good but overhyped.

  • 1:00

  • 100

  • The end was rushed.

  • "director david yates fails to nail the drama and emotion of the climactic battles, and it ends up feeling a little rushed, yeah, i left the midnight showing, thinking that to oh well, can't change the past

  • What! 4 out of 5! You've gotta be kidding. This event of the decade gets 5 stars!!!! That's like giving the dark knight a 3!!!!! DON'T LISTEN TO IGN!!!!! THIS WAS A GREAT MOVIE!!!!

  • Rushed? Underwhelming? Failed to nail th drama? Is this guy high?

  • thumbs up if a piece from your heart is gone cuz of end of HP :(

  • @MrGamersCinema Who says HP is gone just because Harry's adventures are over?(hint, hint?)

  • @MrGamersCinema Those who gives that comment thumbs up should probably seek some help - including you. Yeah, sure - I like the movies for what they are as well. But that doesn't mean I do not realise this has been dragging on for WAAAAAAAAY too long.

  • I'm on a quest to spread the word about a jerk who attended the midnight showing of Harry Potter with plans to ruin everyone's night with "leaked spoilers" he found online. The best part? The so called spoilers were from the Half-blood Prince!

EPIC FAIL! And yet, a grand victory for Potter fans around the world.

YouTube "Dax ruins Harry Potter" if you have a moment & help get the word out. Facebook it, tweet it, whatever. My goal is to have either Tosh.0 or RWJ go off on this guy. Let em know!

  • I have read the books several times over. I spotted ALOT of difference between the books and I was VERY displeased by the ending, which they changed immensly.

In the books the explosiong took a chunk of castle off and everyone was around watching the duel, it was an epic ending. Harry was cheered as a hero.

In the movie, Voldemort burned like paper in a fireplace. wtf is that?

  • Plus, they circled around like wolves while Harry told that motherfucker exactly why he would lose. To his face.

Instead we got that bit of exposition delivered to Ron and Hermione after the battle.

  • Speaking of rushed stuff this review barely gave any info on the movie

  • The Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Part 2 were done really well because they stayed true to the books more than any of the other movies. And the minor things that were changed or added didn't feel out of place.

  • watching this made me tear up

  • does anyone know of the name of the song playing during the review?

  • i thot it was a total 5/5 its not like the others. Thumbs up if you agree

  • the movie didnt hold up to the book the book's ending was so much better but i still liked the movie... im gonna miss herminone

  • @xXanonymoususer14Xx how was it different?

  • It wasn't rushed ffs. It's called "FAST PACED"!!!

  • @DeathlyHallowsSevrus No, what he was talking about is "rushed". Take Bellatrix vs Molly for example; what lasts an entire page in the novel comes out of nowhere in the film and is resolved in under ten seconds (and without knowing why Molly was fighting her, it both resolved too quickly and was of little consequence in the context of the film).

Although I do hear the rest of the scene was cut from the theatrical version, I can't fathom why as the film remains the shortest in the series.

  • @Damon242 This is exactly what the problem of the people who are obsessed with the movies to be exactly like the books. The movie isn't supposed to be exactly like the book,it would get pretty boring,if they do that.

  • @DeathlyHallowsSevrus Molly vs Bellatrix in the film, because they trimmed it down (hence why I mentioned the rest of it being cut) comes out of left-field, lacks context, and is resolved so quickly that one could easily say that it never occurred at all.

I realize it's an adaptation, that's not what I am talking about. Although, while we're at it, Yates should have paid closer attention to the source material - or did he think no one would notice that the mirror piece came out of nowhere.

  • gay or what !!

  • The Dumbledore vs Voldemort fight in OFP was much better done, much more epic and much more intense. It couldn't have hurt if the movie ran 20mins longer.

  • @TheVGamer If they explained the twist with the elder wand before the final battle (as it is in the book), rather than afterwards, the battle would have been much more convincing. And if they cut that stupid robes-grabbing-harry and the over-the-cliff bits which made Voldemort a stupid villain - one who wouldn't strangle or push when he had the chance.

  • It definitely felt rushed and being that it was the shortest of all the movies they definitley had room to add so much more that the left out (eh hem...like bella v ginny hermoine and luna...ect.)

  • What's the name of the song in the background of this video?

  • @gipytoiii Its the harry potter theme song

  • @c3po402 whenever i type in the harry potter theme song i keep just coming up with 'hedwigs theme' do you know the specific name of the song?

  • @gipytoiii The song is about 15 minutes long. The part thats playing in the video is just a secion of the whole thing

  • @c3po402 huh, I can't seem to find a version that is 15 minutes long, all the ones I find are 4-5 minutes long. Could you give me a link to the full version please?

  • @c3po402 huh I cannot find a version that is 15 minutes long, all the versions I find are only 4-5 minutes long. Could you give me a link to the full version please?

  • The ending part is rushed... indeed. The part where he killed Vodlemort should've been kind of longer.

  • 4 -5? are u fuckin stupid , this is the biggest film ever!!! do you think a film that made 182 billion dollars in one weekend and is the biggest box office earning deserves a 4? your an idiot

  • @Impulseuser I think the review was quite fair, and it nailed the negative aspects of the movie quite well. And what the hell does the opening weekend income have anything to do with the quality of the film ?? (ignoring your laughable 182 billion claim.... )

  • i think you'd be generous giving it 3 out of 5 stars, all the negative things this review mentions are not a "minor quibble", people need to start reviewing these movies as films and forget about the books. if someone didnt read them before seeing the movie, they would be completely lost

  • Is it just me or would a red dead redemption sort of game set in the Harry Potter Universe be amazing. You wouldn't play as harry potter, but a completely different story arc and you could create your own characters and even have a free roam online mode where you can duel with others or take out dementors and death-eaters and do all the harry potter mini games like wizard chess and things! Sort of like an action packed harry potter mmorpg!

  • i read all the books but i was so sad when it ended i thought i was going to puke best movies ever snape is awesome and i good guy i feel for him bro

  • The best actor in this franchise is hands down the actress who plays Beatrice!

  • @smithdude101 Don't you mean Bellatrix?

  • Did you watch after the credits and see Nick Fury trying to recruit Harry?

  • @WarSn1per I didn't. D= I wish I had because it would have been awesome in the theater.

  • I agree...the best part was Snape's memories and I also really liked the dragon breakout sequence :D (poor dragon :()

  • I grew up with the series and been a fan since day 1 and its sad that its over and yes my childhood trilogy is over.

  • hmm..my childhood is over..FUCK YOU INFINITY WARD

  • 10 years ? Felt like 6 or 7

  • I'm depressed that the movies are over, but they better do something more with the "19 Years later" Scene. Hopefully they will come back as professors or staff at hogwarts. Hell, I would be fine with watching Harry's son carry on the movies!

  • owww i cried so hard when our hero "THE DARK LORD VOLDERMORT" died. My hart broke, he was such a handsome and smart man. It was a better idea if Harry and voldermort got married and lived happily ever after!!

  • @pedri172 wtf?

  • I was disappointed of the death of a certain character.......

  • @lightingcobra snape?

  • @harcha13 no voldement

  • @lightingcobra oh sorry i didn`t know

  • @harcha13 it's not that he died, it's the way he died

  • @lightingcobra yeah he burned in ashes there was nothing left of him :(

  • @harcha13 Yea I was hoping for something more epic

  • @lightingcobra yeah me too i just hoped that the last movie would be unforgetable but i just didn`t feel it that much

  • how the fuck do people with absolutely zero english get the fucking top comments -_- e.g. "Thumbs up if you cry with this movie and you didn 't want harry potter was over" !!?!?!!?!???!!? fucking hell -_____-

  • This movie is a 5 out of 5 stupid

  • 5 out of 5 dumb ass

  • 4/5 WHAT THE FAWCK?!

  • lol at people complaining about the movie getting 4/5 stars... seriously? i mean it was a good movie perhaps the best of all of the hp's BUT its not like its anywhere near close to the greatest films ive ever watched.. i might even give it like a 3.5/5 or 3.75/5 though i have nothing wrong with the 4. simply, not a perfect movie.

  • this one was defiantly the best of the series in my opinion
