Pilot Light Easiest Way to Light it When it Goes Out

Mine keeps going out now when I turn it from pilot to on. Please help please!

@TJSsuperFRESH Try holding down the red button even when you turn the knob from pilot to on. If the flame keeps going out, you might have to remove the cover and light the flame directly using a match stick. But keep tinkering with the button and knob to see if you can keep the flame lit.

@prebek I cant turn it on when holding the red button down. I have the same one as yours. But I called south west plumbing and they said they can come out here and give a free estimate.

after I release the red button the light goes out right away. It won't stay lit. (of course I hold it for 1 min.) I What should I do?

@gidd999 Try holding the red button down at the same time as when you turn the nob to On. Maybe that will help to keep the flame lit. Also make sure the gas supply coming from the wall is turned fully on. If you are able to remove the panel and access the flame directly, you could try lighting it with a match stick.
