Excuse me, but I haven't any appreciative comment to this video. You misunderstand your Hang as a drum. The sound is distorted, detuned and caged. Perhaps 10 % of the force, you beat into your poor Hang, would be adequate. Your Hang is creaming under your spanking. If you continue to treat it in this way, you will detune it. Perhaps it is already detuned.

I really like the melodic progressions in this piece!
You might try a lighter touch with the Hang, it has some wonderful complex qualities that really shine when the steel vibration gets a chance to blossom.
Beaten out of tune, spoilt by awful painting...
